My first time here for a dim sum lunch and was not disappointed.
Not sure what dish was this as a friend ordered, but has a nice spicy zing to it. Think this was my favourite dish or I was just plain hungry.
As far as the rest of the dishes went, superb. A good dim sum joint in PJ area.

Yeng Kee Noodle House @ Taman Yulek, Cheras, KL, Malaysia.
Ever since I had my first taste of noodle soup + chinese wine, I'm hooked. This place is well hidden, can't find a proper address on the net nor on its fb. You should be able to find it on google maps, just punch in Yeng Kee Noodle House.
They have a few types of meat for you to choose from, depends on what you're after. Broth I think all is the same, clear soup type.
You can order a bottle of chinese wine and park it in the restaurant for next usage. This place is seriously awesome, noodles in soup paired it with chinese wine, to die for. Oh and the coffee here is another killer.

Yung Kee Beef Noodles @ Restoran Kwai Hup, Pudu, KL, Malaysia.
As usual I was on a prowl for beef noodles, my friend suggested this place which I haven't been so off we went.
The stall is located in this corner shop called Restoran Kwai Hup.
The menu is written on the wall, quite a few selection they have.
As usual I'll order the mixed beef soup, but this round I opted for mee tai mak. The soup is not over powering, has a nice light taste to it. The mixed beef parts were lovely. I'm quite happy to have found a new joint for beef noodles in Pudu area. Definitely a must try if you are in this part of town.

Gerai Makanan Norway Salmon Fish Head Noodle @ Kepong, KL, Malaysia.
Had a sudden craving for fish soup and remembered a friend recommending this place. Off I went armed with my google maps.
Thank god the place was easy to find with a big signage in front of the restaurant.
Milk fish soup with bee hoon and a fried salmon fillet on the side.
It did satisfied my cravings, soup was hearty and rich. The fried salmon was done perfect, nice crispy texture outside and soft in the middle.

Wild Honey @ Pavillion KL, Malaysia.
The all day breakfast chain from Singapore has opened a branch in KL.
Bagel, mushrooms, scrambled egg, tomatoes, baked beans, sausages and potatoes + cornbeef (I think).
Pancakes with sausage and syrup on the side. The food is definitely good although a bit on the high side. But hey if you occupy a big space in Pavilion, I guess the rental is high.

Yakitori Dining FUKUDA @ Desa Sri Hartamas, Kl, Malaysia.
Another session of happy hour and yakitori. This round we checked out this place in Desa Sri Hartamas.
They gave us a free starter, no complains there.
Some alcohol to start the happy hour.
There's always something comfort about mentaiko, slurps.
Good stuff. This place serves good yakitori. I couldn't asked for more, good grub food plus alcohol. I'm a very happy man.

Thim Kee Steamed Fish @ Pudu, KL, Malaysia.
Off we went to another lunch hunt and this time my friend suggested we go try this place for steamed or deep fried tilapia fish.
As there was only two of us, we only opted for the deep fried fish. Fried to perfection, good stuff. Although he did mentioned the steamed was a better tasting option.
Fried omelette was delicious as well.
We actually changed last minute from tofu to this deep fried chicken. It proved to be a good choice. If I came here alone, just the fried chicken and rice would make a perfect lunch for me. The food is good.

Chunburi Seafood @ Kampung Baru, KL, Malaysia.
Back to Kampung Baru, this round went to check out nasi dagang at this place. They do have other dishes here as well ie nasi padang, but heck I was craving for nasi dagang.
Okay, not a proper nasi dagang as I'm a bit on the carnivore side. The rice was absolutely to die for, can eat it just with fish curry gravy. It's thick and creamy. The ikan tongkol was stunning. I added some smoked beef/daging salai, superb. This is definitely another of my comfort food besides nasi lemak.

Masakan Padang Asli Kampung Baru @ Kampung Baru, KL, Malaysia.
Back to my personal favourite for nasi padang in Kampung Baru. This place is not cheap but one thing, you'll be assured of the quality here.
There's a whole load variety of dishes to choose from. Normally we'll pick our own individual plate of rice and dishes.
My plate of paru, crackers and some gravy on hot rice, with sambal hijau on the side. Today they didn't serve the boiled petai/smelly beans. A personal favourite of mine also:/
The gem of this place has to be the tunjang/beef tendon. We ordered a plate to share. Food still taste good and one thing I like this place, only frequented by locals or those who know how to get here.

Beast @ Intermark, KL, Malaysia.
Lunch time at The Intermark again, this round we checked out Beast Bar & Grill. As some of us were still full from breakfast, we decided to share some side dishes as mains.
For starters wild mushroom soup, love this actually. Just a nice amount of cream, not too heavy nor too light.
Caesar salad to share.
Mac and cheese was superb, super sinful.
Creamy mashed potatoes, can't believe how they did the texture on this one. Delicious.
Truffle oil portobello mushrooms was another must order.
The onion rings was wrapped in a thick batter, this would definitely go well with some beers.
But my personal favourite would definitely be the beef tartare. Absolutely divine. I couldn't find any fault with any of the dishes we ordered. Totally a wonderful experience.

Restoran Jie Mee @ Sri Hartamas, KL, Malaysia.
Was craving for noodles, a friend suggested this place in Sri Hartamas for wan tan mee. She told me this was the famous wan tan mee previously at Jln Batai at Damansara Heights.
Opted for something different, had the wantan mee with shredded chicken.
It's good. The mee was al dente, soya sauce coating was nice. dumplings was good, soup was light but slurps. Now I know why it's famous, this is one good wan tan mee I'll be back for.

Madras Lane Hawker Food @ Petaling Street, KL, Malaysia.
This place is bustling with locals and tourists. They're famous for the ytf, curry laksa, asam laksa and ccf.
Check out those see hum/blood cockles, for the curry laksa.
Asam laksa condiments.
The ccf is definitely one of the best in kl, silky smooth and chewy.
The curry laksa had an awesome thickful broth. The see hums were succulent and the tau pok soaked up the broth nicely.
Asam laksa had a nice tangy spicy kick to it. Big chunk of fish on top. I definitely enjoyed the soup to the last bit.
