Yellow Brick Road @ Jalan Batai, Damansara Heights, KL, Malaysia.

I was here for coffee catching up with a good mate of mine, saw the menu, came back the next day for brunch with another old friend.

I had the pulled beef and my friend ordered the salmon.

They sure know how to make the eggs here. As I suspected, the food is good, the coffee is equally a stunner. Pricing is decent and a good place to chillax for those hung over days.

Hearty bowl of yong tau foo with noodles Good portion, soup was indeed marvelous and the chilli had a nice kick to it. I'll definitely be back here.

Restoran Ong Lai (Goh Kee) @ KL, Malaysia.

Found another gem sze char restaurant smack in KL city, recommended by a friend.

We ordered a few dishes as there were three of us. Should have brought more people to sample more dishes.

The must order is the fish which is their signature and the orh luak. The dishes here are good, byo your own alcohol with family or friends, you won't be disappointed. Parking here can be a bitch, best come in early.

Warung SinarNor Nasi Lemak @ KL, Malaysia.

Finally managed to check out the nasi lemak here. Judging from the arrays of dishes available, I went berserk.

Had fried chicken, paru/lungs and cockles. Sambal was excellent, chicken was fried nicely, cockles was superb and the paru, to die for. No wonder this place is packed with customers. Next stop just opposite at Unifrozen to grab my steaks.

Bánh Mì Nguyên Sinh @ Hanoi, Vietnam.

Still full from Pho, we did not wanna miss out on this Banh Mi. Good reviews online we had to check it out.

Cuts of meat on display. we ordered the pate. Oh boy was it delicious, the baguette had a nice crunch to it, soft on the inside. Good portions and worth every penny for it. Absolutely smacking, I can have this for breakfast any day or a snack to go. I went to another Banh Mi stall the previous day, didn't write on it as this was way better!

Bonus tip, if you're still feeling peckish, look out for a stall diagonally left across the street with a red signage called Quan Goc Da.

Phở 10 Lý Quốc Sư @ Hanoi, Vietnam.

Hunting for a bowl of Pho and this place keeps getting recommended online. This place is quite packed with locals and tourists(me included, lol). Can be crowded but the turnover is quite fast.

Staff hard at work churning out bowls of pho.

They have english menu, I know I know always be wary if the menu are in english. But I can't read Vietnamese.

Now check that bowl out, fully loaded. Portions are generous. Soup is flavourful, love the cuts of meats. A good bowl of Pho, although I notice Hanoi's Pho broth are more light and healthy compared to their Saigon counterpart (correct me if I'm wrong). Next post will be a Banh Mi stall opposite this shop, which we immediately had although our stomach was full from Pho :)
