Wagyu More Malaysia @ The Gardens Mall, KL, Malaysia.

Went to check out this place after a friend of mine raved about it. Buffet style hotpot/steamboat with 2 hours duration.

These are the types of soup and cuts of meats offered. Just order from the helpful staff. As there was only two of us, we had individual pots, I opted for the tomato broth. If bigger groups you can get the communal pot.

The tomato broth on its own was quite tame, could use a bit more oomph. But after boiling it with some stuff not bad at all.

I was very happy with the variety of stuff offered, you can get almost everything, vege, dumplings, tofu to sushi, teh tarik, ice cream, pasta. I reckon for the price you pay it is quite an awesome value.
Decent place with good food.

Kedai Kopi Hock Seng Hin @ Pudu, KL, Malaysia.

Old school sze char in Pudu, famous for their braised fish head? Time to check it out. Be warned though, the queue can be a bit intimidating and long. Best come here early say 1130am.

The fish head chopped into pieces and smothered in a rich addictive gravy. Mix the gravy with the white rice, ahhhh umami. Fish was fresh but be careful as it has quite a few of tiny bones.

Am just happy with just the fish head and white rice. Old school setting below.

Ordered some greens and below is the tofu soup. Not bad, something different, I kinda like the tofu soup.

Food was superb, good place for lunch minus the queue. This shop has been here for ages and people still queue for it, it tells something bout the food.

Unnamed Chicken Rice @ Jalan Ipoh, KL, Malaysia.

So there's this stall at Batu 3 Jalan Ipoh in KL that serves a mean chicken rice. The stall is unnamed but my friend call it the Legendary chicken rice Jalan Ipoh.

Look out for the purple stall and that's the guy that chops the meat. Nice fella actually.

The chicken is good, the rice was excellent. The sambal? Powerrr. This place is packed during lunch time with office crowd. Do come in early as the stuff runs out fast.

As my friend called it Legendary chicken rice shop, heck yeah it is.

Village Roast Duck @ Pavilion, KL, Malaysia.

One of the best place to satisfy your roast duck cravings. Been here many times and it has yet to disappoint me.

Ordered a couple of greens to balance our lunch.

A salted egg yolk squid, which was yummy! Today instead of rice I opted for the dry noodles. Superb, think going forward I'll stick to noodles.

The star of the dish, roast duck. We ordered a trio platter which consists of soya chicken, roast duck and char siu. Beautifully done, a good lunch indeed.

Nuromen Cafe @ Damansara Uptown, PJ, Selangor, Malaysia.

Halal kolo mee, is it good? Not sure why I'm into Sarawak food lately, but had to check it out.

Had ample time waiting for my friend to arrive, happily snapping the menu pics.

I did the usual, ordered the mix beef, and boy would I tell you. This is some good shit, the noodles was done how I would love it to be. Nice springy al dente texture, the minced beef on top was a nice touch. The spare parts was served in the soup bowl, broth was good, could have use a more punch. But I'm not complaining as it had a how do I put it, healthy taste to it? minus the MSG, which I think they didn't use any.

My friend ordered this, not sure what it was as I was fully engrossed in my bowl of noodles. Pic looked good though.

7th Mile Kitchen @ PJ, Selangor, Malaysia.

Was reading about this place serving Sarawak delicacies, the thing that piqued my interest was the tomato noodles.

We ordered a bowl of Sarawak laksa to share, good stuff. It misses a bit of punchy-ness to it but still decent.

The tomato noodles, hmmm I'm not sure how to describe the taste, but I love it. Something different but at the same time reminds me of something comfy.

Kolo mee my friend ordered was equally good. Not a bad place if you're craving for some Sarawak noodles.
