Back here again for the grouper slice fish soup noodle. Try avoid coming here peak hours, it can be long. Like super long waiting time. As there was four of us dining today lunch. We opted for a large communal pot with individual servings of noodles.

Good stuff, just simply awesome fish noodle soup.

Finally managed to check out this place for dinner. What an utter delight.

Salted egg calamari which was crunchy addictive. Some greens to balance out the diet.

The fish head in their signature sauce, although it looks messy, this is one killer dish and a must order.

The other dish I loved that night was the fried chicken. If you're looking for a good tai chow / sze char for dinner, this would be a nice bet!

Chicken hotpot at Toriden KL for lunch, good food and friendly service. Not bad at all, do not expect smack in your face flavours. I find the food taste here subtle and healthy. Don't get me wrong, I'll definitely come back.

In the mean time we ordered some extras for sharing, very good.

This cup is the chicken broth first scooped after the hotpot was ready. As the old saying goes, chicken soup for the soul, oh my.

Honestly, I think this pot would be an excellent hangover cure. Good stuff, if only I can afford this everyday.

Back here again and I'm clearly loving this place. Unpretentious good bowl of fish noodles.

Ordered a fish cake, a bowl of fishballs and some other stuff to share. Lovely.

My mate ordered the dry koew teow mee to go with his sliced grouper soup whereas I ordered a koew teow bee hoon soup. Food is good, broth had a nice kick to it and portions were good. I should start putting a bottle of chinese wine in my car, hmmm.

This place is the bombs, very authentic Thai food and in the sticks. If you're in Bentong, this place is a must go.

The tom yam is damn good, love it to pieces. The lala below was another dish to behold, superb. Each dish has a nice extreme spicy sour sweet to it.

The salad was another dish absolutely smacking. The thick anchovies was a nice addition. The oyster mushroom was another delight.

This is one Thai restaurant that doesn't cater to Malaysian tastebuds. The food is proper Thai, I only wished they had a branch in KL.

Off to Bentong for a day trip, we checked out this place for breakfast. Seems they have branches in PJ and Glenmarie but am headed to the original outlet, OG!

Friend had the wtm and the works.

The dry ban mian was nice, love the soya sauce taste. I had the soup version instead, also lovely.

The usual order croissants and donut to share. Not bad but just be warned, it can get crowded on weekends.

Also don't forget to try their 1+1 kopi/cham ? Good stuff.

Teow Chew Steamed Hor Fun @ ICC, Pudu, KL, Malaysia.

I tried this before sampling from a friends plate quite some time back. Had a sudden craving for it and tapau back for lunch.

Oh my, boy did that hit the spot. Smooth hor fun drenched in a sweet sour tangy spicy sauce with slices of lemon and tomatoes. Sliced fish were decent portions too. Good stuff.
