Jyu Raku Japanese Restaurant @ SS15, Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

Long awaited post, this review spans over a lunch and dinner session. One of my fine pleasures in life is to have sake over lunch, probably due to the fact I don't have to go back to work after this.

Some appetisers while downing my sake. Friend had the curry rice while I had the chirashi bowl. Thick cuts, simply yummy.

Now this was from our dinner session, some salmon sashimi, salad and maki. Portions are plenty, food taste is good.

We just went nuts and ordered a bit of everything. Yakitori was decent too, but I still prefer my fresh fish here. Just a matter of preference.

Oh this small suckers go well with the alcohol. Nice place, good food, definitely a personal favourite.

Kedai Makanan Dan Minuman Sri Mahkota @ Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia.

I rounded this place twice before and was turned off by the number of people queuing here, but I made it a point to come here one day as if there's tonnes of people, food must be superb. This time around it was partial MCO and the queue didn't look that bad, managed to get a table within minutes. First off the ordering system here is weird, they'll hand you a number, wait for the server to come and get the orders from you. It can take some time, so just walk to the ytf counter and grab some to munch on while waiting for the server. Bonus tip, just grab more ytf, as between the time the server takes your order and the food being served, it's take a while. Now my other grievance, fucking hell there was no beef noodles tonight.

Ytf was good, I wished I ordered more, but I didn't know how big my noodles serving would be. Didn't wanna risk it first time being here. The hakka noodles were awesome, especially the noodles, nicely coated. Damn it, gotta come back here again to try the beef noodles and the ytf.

Figgy's Cafe @ Janda Baik, Pahang, Malaysia.

Pit stop quick brunch, had the lempeng. Comes with a nice sambal ikan bilis, which I think they mix with figs. It's the same sambal they use for their nasi lemak, which my friend ordered. Did he like it? He finished the whole plate.

Good food with a nice ambiance, lovely.

Anak Baba @ Brickfields, KL, Malaysia.

Friend brought me for lunch here one day, what a surprising find. No frills place for a quick lunch and the food is good too.

Friend had the nyonya laksa, I had one scoop of the broth, quite good. I personally ordered the  mee goreng, although it looks basic but it taste awesome.

Some dishes to share the fried fish with sambal, prawns in pineapple sauce and fried chicken. Chicken was alright, comfort food. The fish was good but I was busy slurping the prawns in that sauce. Gimme white rice and the pineapple prawns with gravy, absolutely smashing.

Cendol to finish the meal. Nice place, airy and comfortable. Food is good.

Restoran Makanan Laut Ah Poh @ Kuala Selangor, Selangor, Malaysia.

This place has been on my radar for quite some time and finally managed to check it out. Is it worth it? Yes.

Gotta order the crab bee hoon, old school and freaking good. Below is the ikan bulus deboned and deep fried, wah this is a must order. White rice, this style of ikan bulus and gimme some sambal, am sorted.

This was their version of asam pedas, forgot what fish though, not bad, something different. I like the food here, it's good. Will definitely come back next round.
