Kee Hong Restoran @ Kapar, Selangor, Malaysia.

Friend jio for a sze char lunch in Kapar, been hearing about this place for quite some time and finally managed to check it out.

I have to say the dishes are good, everything no complains.

But the must order is this  stingray cooked in I dunno what the heck style. Superbbbbb! I can just have this dish with white rice. Winner winner chicken dinner, wait we didn't order any chicken dish lol.

Overall a scrumptious lunch indeed, I'm kinda missing all this type of food in KL. In KL either the standard dropped, or the price is becoming too ridiculous or the queue is horrendous. Oh well guess gotta do the jalan jalan cari makan then...

MamaLee Nasi Lemak @ DU, PJ, Selangor, Malaysia.

Came here over the weekend for brunch, clean comfortable spacious place. They have quite a few items on the menu but we're here for the nasi lemak! My first time here by the way.

You can have a normal nasi lemak or you can do the works with ayam, prawn, petai or sotong.

Above is the fried chicken and below is the rendang. Everyone ordered their individual and we added on some sides.

I had the sotong petai which was awesomeee. Nasi lemak is good and best part there was no queue. Or maybe I went during off peak hours.

Sarawak Sibu Kampua Mee @ Restoran Ah Tan White Coffee @ Setia Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.

Came here for brekkie with some friends, and one guy recommended the kampua noodles.

I think I ordered kampua white sauce. Portions were good, taste wise yup I like it. Will definitely order this next round I'm here, maybe will try the other variations.

Hyderabad Dum Briyani @ MY81 Restaurant Brickfields @ KL, Malaysia.

Came here after reading it online on malaymail. They have quite a few items for lunch spread. But I'm here for the dum briyani.

The chai is priced at rm1 per glass, I reckon I had 3, lol. Now the mutton dum briyani, it looks plain right, but have a bite. It's good stuff, perfect.

We also ordered some dishes to share to try, quite good. I can't really say whether it taste authentic Hydrebad briyani (never been), but I can say this is a good briyani.

Kedai Makan Ayah Din @ Tanjung Malim, Perak, Malaysia.

Back in Tanjung Malim and this round we're off to check out this mee kicap. The shop is located at the back lane of the main road.

So this is the mee kicap, with some shredded chicken and some green leafs with some condiments on the side. Good stuff, I came back I think  two or three weeks later, slurps. Also on my second visit I ordered the bak chang and this is the first time I see a halal bak chang. Do try it!

Ramen Setagaya @ Mont Kiara, KL, Malaysia.

Damn, it's been quite some time I had ramen. So when some people suggested this place for lunch, I'm all on board.

They got the usual suspects ramen, as usual I'm opting for black garlic.

One lady decided to order this, some rice with onsen egg. Looks good though. And the pic below is the Shionoya Jiro Ramen. Careful with this one, it can feed for 2 hungry people or 3

Lastly, my black garlic ramen. Yummy. I actually had a scoop of all the ramens broth that we ordered, it is good. A real smack in the face umami.

Mee Kari Ramli Bidor @ Bidor, Perak, Malaysia.

Just off the Bidor highway exit is this small stall selling curry mee Malay style. Similar to the mee kicap style in Ipoh, I ordered my usual which is koew teow mee kicap plus ytf drenched in curry.

I must admit, the curry here is awesome! Was it worth the while exiting Bidor for this mee kicap? Yeap it was.

Kedai Makanan Hailam Sun Sun Nam Cheong @ Kuala Kubu Baru, Selangor, Malaysia.

I'm still on a prowl for a mean Hainanese chicken chop. So when a friend texted on a random weekend asking to go this Hainam kopi tiam in KKB, I was delighted to check it out.

We ordered a mee hailam to share and one chicken chop each. Food was good, but I'm still on the hunt for the old school taste of a Hainam chicken chop. Not sure whether ingredients has changed, or the cooking style or maybe it's just the commercial farmed chicken.

Oh they also sell nasi lemak packet, decent.

Restoran R Cheng Fei Zhou Yu Wan Tan Mee @ Rawang, Selangor, Malaysia.

What a mouthful this restaurants name are, anyway all the way up in Rawang, off I went to check out this wtm joint.

I opted for the steamed soya sauce talapia with wtm. It's a weird combo but somehow after having my first bite, why haven't I tried this before.

Portions were generous, that's one serving for me. I liked their wan tan mee, done just right. Fish was firm and fresh.

Azmi Ikan Stim Tempoyak @ Raub, Pahang, Malaysia.

Followed some new acquaintance friends after hearing one of em raving about it. We got here for lunch and they already pre-ordered the steamed patin (trust me, do it).

There's other dishes to choose from, there's also normal style patin tempoyak.

That is the steam patin tempoyak, ain't it a beaut. Sublime, gravy is thick, fish is fresh. Compared to the regular tempoyak sauce they serve there, this one is a bit like a smack in your face type. I also had a fried chicken and salted fish with my rice. Don't forget the sambal tempoyak also, superb.

Nam @ Damansara Heights, KL, Malaysia.

Seems Kenny Hills Bistro roast duck is no longer there(correct me if I'm wrong) and they serving it at their sister outlet called Nam at Plaza Damansara.

Was it good? Yeap still the great tasting roast duck, love it to bits.

My mate ordered the pho/beef noodles and the rice pancake. Food is good, I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch here.
