First dinner we went and check out this restaurant by the beach. Pretty standard menu where you can get local Thai food.
We also ordered some deep fried squid. Food was good. No complains what so ever.

Had this biggest craving for ayam gepuk, so my mate and me went off to check out Ayam Gepuk Top Global. He had it before from a different branch and he said it's good.
I had the chicken thigh, nicely fried to perfection. Sambal I was a bit worried, so I went for the mild one, good stuff. My mate had the spicy sambal, I tried a bit and man was it burning.

I'm kinda liking this neighbourhood at this cosy corner of Ekkamai. This round we went to check out a tsukemen and ramen shop.
Good stuff, comfort food for the soul. I like the broth here, not too jelak.

What a gem, this place looks plain but the food is freaking worth it. Quite a variety of food they have on the menu. Although I do not know what's the name of this shop, luckily they have menu in English as well.
A simple dish of fried rice, they do it well. Food portion was good, a bang on the wallet and best part, tasted good. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Ekkamai.
