Tsukada Nojo @ Chinatown Point, Singapore.

This restaurant was notorious for its queues, but boy was I happy to come here on a weekend at 1145 am and managed to get a table without a queue. I guess the fad has died down a bit, or maybe there's 2 more outlets one being in Plaza Singapura and the other at Westgate. And yes the crowd did slowly packed the place from 12pm onwards. It's famous for its chicken collagen hotpot.

This is how it look like when it was first served, all the awesome goodness of chicken soup.

Once the gel has been melted by the heat, the server will help pour the broth into a small cup, for you to try the broth in it's original taste. Comes with 2 parts of chicken, one thigh and drumstick.

Some condiments chilli paste, yuzu paste, leek oil and japanese soya sauce.

The server helping to prepare the ingredients for the hotpot. Sorry didn't managed to take a picture of the hotpot items before being served. It's basically chicken rice balls, lettuce, prawns, noodles, and a few other vegetables.

Now isn't that a beautiful picture, all the awesome goodness of chicken soup and colors from the vegetables. The stock or the broth, is one of the best I've tasted, the ingredients are fresh. The server recommended the thick mochi noodle, she was right, love the texture of it. I foresee myself coming back here soon, very soon, with more friends of course. By the way, the staffs here are a nice bunch, they somehow emit an aura of friendly happy people. I came in grumpy after a late night out, walked out cheerful, and of course with a stuffed tummy.
