Fried Loh Shee Fun @ Restoran New Seaview, Paramount Garden , PJ, Malaysia.

Was circling around in Paramount Garden and decided to check out this kopi tiam. Was craving for a plate of char koew teow, but the same stall sells loh shee fun, opted for that instead.

Plate looks good when it was served. Taste wise, sinful and nice. Just what I needed for a weekend hangover cure. I wonder how their ckt taste like, till next time.

Restoran Asam Pedas Muar Istimewa @ Setapak, KL, Malaysia.

Quite a mouthful the name of the restaurant but heck if the food is good, you can call it what ever you want. I've had this asam pedas craving for quite some time, so when my friend told me about this specialist joint, had to go check it out. We came here for lunch.

The menu was laid out in simple.

We basically ordered a few types of fish to share. Actually 1 portion is meant for 1 person, the set comes with a plate of white rice, some local salad and salted fish + sambal.

Yups, it definitely fixed my craving. Awesome joint if you want a good asam pedas. Only thing missing was the egg omelette picture as it came later.

Rosli Mee Rebus @ Masjid India, KL, Malaysia.

A friend had a craving for a mee rebus and he brought me here. Did a quick google didn't know this stall was so famous.

You can order a tofu on the side like my friend did. I chose mine to be mixed together.

Damn, this is one mean piece of mee rebus. The gravy was starchy and rich, just the way I love it. The tofu peanut sauce was a killer, mix it all in, a perfect balance. This stalls mee rebus is unlike any other in KL, reminds me of a Singapore style mee rebus.

Zulina Kari Kepala Ikan @ Jalan Cochrane, KL, Malaysia.

Curry fish head for lunch and this round we checked out this humble stall on Jalan Cochrane.

You won't miss this big red banner. The stall is located on a row of stalls next to Petronas station on Jalan Cochrane.

The fish head was fresh and the curry was superb.

The fried squid was ok, maybe if it was cut in bite sizes it would have been better.

The other star gotta be the fried chicken, excellently done. Definitely a place to check out for a heavy lunch. Lovely Food.

Restoran Soong Kee Beef Ball Noodles @ KL, Malaysia.

This place brings back a lot of memories, I would say this was the first joint that made me fell in love with beef noodles. Although the standard has dropped a bit, or was it I've been spoiled with other types of beef noodles. I'll still come back here once in a while to have my fix. In other words there's no place like home.

Mixed beef in a clear broth. Just a nice touch to it.

And the star is the minced meat on top of noodles. Mix it in, super duper awesome noodles.

Add a dash of their chilli sauce, match made in heaven. Definitely my personal favourite joint for beef noodles.

Beef King Pudu Beef Noodles @ Pudu, Kl, Malaysia.

Still on a prowl of a good beef noodles, went check out a joint in Pudu.

The stall is located in this restaurant yong tau foo.

The egg noodles had a nice al dente to it. Reminds me of a mee kolok. I actually adored the noodles with the mince meat on top.

Mix spare parts beef, lovely. The broth looks oily but packed with awesome goodness.

Another superb beef noodles situated in Pudu, nice!

Restoran Asia Laksa @ Senawang, Negri Sembilan, Malaysia.

Done with the beef noodles, straight zoomed in to Senawang side to try this curry laksa.

The sambal on the side was a favourite, goes really well with the laksa.

Has a nice creamy thick curry texture on top, bottom part was watery. Mix it well and you have a pretty awesome concoction. Portion size was very generous.

Food is good, place is packed but turnaround was quite fast.

Seremban Beef Noodles @ Pasar Besar Seremban, Negri Sembilan, Malaysia.

Finally at long last I managed to test this beef noodles. Lo and behold, the wait was well worth it.

Simple hawker stall on top of Seremban wet market.

Dry mix beef noodles. Awesome goeey starchy goodness with generous portions. The soup on the side is excellent, had a nice depth to it.

One thing about seremban style beef noodles they add peanuts to it, had a nice crunchy bits to it. Now I know what's the big fuss all about Seremban beef noodles. Worth waking up weekend morning to drive from KL to savour this piece of work.

Shin Kee Beef Noodles Specialist @ Petaling Street, KL, Malaysia.

To put a specialist at the back of a restaurants name, they must be pretty confident. I guess they are right because I came back here again in the next four days for it.

As usual ordered the dry beef mixed spare parts. The noodle was excellent, a bit al dente.

Minced beef on top had a nice savoury taste to it.

Generous portions of mix beef in a nice hearty broth. Everything was just perfect. A very nice bowl of beef noodles.

Beef Noodle @ O&S Restaurant @ Paramount Garden, PJ, Selangor, Malaysia.

Back for round three and this time went to test the beef noodle stall.

Dry I think lai fun noodles with some mince meat on top.

Mix beef spareparts in an awesome broth.

Chilli had a nice zing to it too. Yes to find a table here in this restaurant was worth it, as this is a fine piece of beef noodles. Definitely a keeper.

Restoran Sri Paandi (PJ) @ Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

Banana leaf rice for lunch and this time we went to Sri Paandi off Jalan University.

As usual pre deep fried items for you to choose from.

Some cooked items as well the usual chicken mutton etc.

White rice with some greens and yes they use actual banana leaf here.

Rasam + raita/yoghurt adds some flavours to the meal.

Ah nice comfort food, I actually prefer the deep fried items as the meat come out hot. Whereas the cooked items are normally served room temperature. Easily one of the best banana leaf in PJ area. Unassuming unpretentious just simple back to the roots banana leaf rice.

SugarBun @ Menara Hap Seng, KL, Malaysia.

So it seems this chain of fast food originated from Sarawak. I dare admit the fried chicken does taste good. Slurps.

They have quite an extensive menu.

But I was tempted to try their saucy kano broasted chicken meal set which comes with savoury rice and pickles. The chicken outer skin was nice and crunchy. The meat was moist inside. Absolutely delicious. Can't really describe how the kano sauce taste like but it does go well with the chicken and rice.

Koike Shoten @ Bangsar, KL, Malaysia.

Back to hunting yakitori for happy hours, a friend recommended this place. Heh plus on the bonus side they currently have this promo for 2 hours buffet drinks which consists of beer, sake and whisky highball(not sure if the promo is still there).

Okay, as usual after a few drinks forgot which is what. But we ordered the usual suspects, chicken spare parts, skin, tsukune etc. Yes the food is good, gotta give it to the chefs, they did an awesome job. Would lovely come back here again with a bunch of friends feasting and loads of happy hour.
