Restoran Sururi @ Jalan Tun Razak, KL, Malaysia.

Came here on a Thursday as that's when they serve their daily specials of mutton soup.

Ordering is simple go the big pot and ask what you want, grab it, get a plate of white rice and choose any other dishes that you want. Go to the cashier and pay.

We went for the mutton soup and just plain rice. The soup was superbly awesome, robust with herbs and spices.

If you're craving for a Malay old school style soup, this is definitely the place to go. Place is hot and packed, but I'll be back for the soups.

Mak's Chee @ Pavilion, KL, Malaysia.

We decided to check out  Mak's wtm branch in KL at Pavilion for lunch.

It's an open kitchen in front where you can see how's the food been done.

The HK milk tea was delicious.

The leg of chicken was good.

Fried wantons.

Wantons in soup and below wtm with prawn roe.

Beef brisket is a must order to share.

Food was good, as it was still new waiting time can be a pain. I'll suggest the must order is the chicken leg, beef brisket and your choice of wantan mee. As usual can't compare to the real deal back in HK, but a worthy effort if your craving for it.

Restoran How Kee Seafood Village @ Simpang Ampat, Penang, Malaysia.

En route to KL, we did a pit stop at Simpang Ampat for lunch. Gotta hand it to my friend for suggesting this place, awesome find.

A must order is the prawns, excellent tasty juicy spicy prawns.

The lala was my personal favourite as I love shellfish.

I think this was Gong Gong, a bit hard to get to the flesh, but worth it. The sauce that came with it pairs the meat lovely.

Ah the fish, the broth/sauce/gravy had a nice zesty spicy feeling to it. Would definitely order it next round when I come here again.

Last but not least, you have to order the mantis prawns. Awesome dish. Ask the lady boss how to peel it, it's quite easy actually. A hidden gem which was worth the find. Plus it's only a short distance from Simpang Ampat toll exit.

Castaway Resort @ Koh Lipe, Thailand.

Woke up with a bad hangover, be careful of the thai whisky coke bucket. Easy to drink but it hits you hard.  Wanted something comfy for breakfast.

Ordered a chicken porridge. Oh my it was so good I had it every morning here. Had a somtam as well, something sweet sourish to perk up the body. A good breakfast cure for hangover, pair it with Singha beer, a delicious breakfast indeed. Now that I feel better, thai whisky bucket again for this evening.

On The Rocks Restaurant @ Serendipity Resort, Koh Lipe, Thailand.

Came here for the views and decided to have lunch here. Had a few drinks to lighten up the mood.

Had a Penang/Panang curry with steamed rice.

I reckon this is one of my better foods I had on the island. Lovely stuff, the curry mix well with the good thai rice. Can't stop slurping on it. Plus the views was awesome. Definitely a chill out place to hang out with your partner.

Sup Hameed @ Jalan Penang, Penang, Malaysia.

Did a pit stop here, was craving for a late afternoon snack.

Ordered a sup kambing(mutton soup), comes with a thick bread.

Hits the right spot oh yeah. Chunky meats, good size portions and the soup was robust. Penang people got something good going on here.

Butcher Carey @ Plaza Damas, KL, Malaysia.

A no frills steak joint in Plaza Damas, good affordable quality meat serve here.

My medium rare steak came with a salad on the side. Perfectly done medium rare, pair it with some mustard, heavenly. The other star dish here is the lamb burger, definitely a worth order. The patty was juicy and succulent.

Restoran Tauge Ayam Ong Kee @ Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia.

Chicken taugeh in Ipoh and this round we went  to check out Ong Kee.

The magnificent taugeh(beansprouts). Crunchy soft lightly dressed in soya sauce, one word. Delicious.

The chicken here was divine. No complains whatsoever on the food serve here. You can have it with hor fun or rice. I prefer having it with the silky smooth hor fun.

The Manna Korean Restaurant @ Plaza Damas, KL, Malaysia.

Once in a while I'll get this cravings for some sundubu jjigae. I chance upon this small korean eatery, food is pretty decent and the pricing is just right.

The sundubu jjigae comes with 3 sides and a rice. The stew had a nice spicy kick to it, as always I'm sweating halfway eating it.

The shop looks like a mom and pop shop, small no frills and feels home cooked. That was the enticing factor that made me walk into this shop the first time and I've been back here a few times.

Back here again for an early breakfast, decided to try the Ipoh hor fun.

Quite good, looks like the real deal and taste like it. Thoroughly enjoyed this bowl of soupy goodness.

The ytf was always a must order to share if you're in a bunch.

Also we tried the poppiah, another good dish to order for sharing. My personal favourite coffee shop with loads of variety to choose from.

Chir Chir Fusion Chicken Factory @ Pavilion, KL, Malaysia.

Damn, it has been quite some time since I had Korean fried chicken. When my friend told me we're headed here for lunch, I was gleaming with excitement.

The mac and cheese is was sublime, definitely a must order for starters.

Spicy rice cakes was another dish I thoroughly enjoyed.

We ordered a bunch of chickens to try. I'm not particularly a fan of sweet stuff, but some of my friends commented how excellent the chickens were. I'm more of the spicy type and boy were they lovely.

Absolutely stunning, definitely a good place if your craving for korean fried chickens.

Craving for fish soup and first time for me checking out this place. Parking here can be quite a challenge.

Piping hot fish head noodles in a claypot.
