This is my second time here, service is tip top and the food is good. The lounge is comfortable and the bar is pretty stocked up. I pretty much enjoyed the negroski here.

Ok from the bottom, dan dan noodles(love it), wan tan noodles and grilled chicken. Wan ton was excellent, soup as usual, not too much heavy on the seasoning. Careful with the sambal, it stings :D

So here I was doing a beer run to the 7e as usual to stock up in the hotel room and I saw this stall. Ordered a pad see ew tapau/take away. And guess what? I had food from here everyday on this trip to Bangkok lol. Mostly tapau but I made it a point the last day of flying out to eat here.

This was the pad kra pao chicken, the pad see ew was smashing as well. The portion maybe small to some but for the price you pay and in Bangkok? Worth every penny in my books. I try to support local every time I get. Keep up the great food!

Hangover and needed something soupy, was craving for some beef noodles. Luckily this stall was on grab, so I ordered it to the hotel. It may look bland but trust me, even after delivery, food was served piping hot and the bowl was absolute delight.

If you're ordering via grab, make sure tick for cutlery. It comes with the bowl! How thoughtful. Anyway this is one good bowl of beef noodles. Next round will go check it out at the restaurant.

I remembered I bookmarked this place and decided to check it out since it's only one train station away from where I stayed. Got there nearly 2pm and place was pretty empty. Service was fast.

I went for the Tenko Mori bowl. Voila check that bowl out. Thick cuts of fish and generous portions.

Definitely a lavish meal, loved it!

Still recovering from a hangover, could use some soupy meal. Friend brought me over to this place near our hotel. What a gem it was, how did I miss this place all this while. Perfect brunch place for your hangover. 

I needed something to wake me up, Ordered a tomyam noodle soup with squid. Check out that egg yolk! Friend ordered a fish porridge. As for desserts we had the steam bread with pandan kaya(I think). Everything was divine. My tomyam broth had a fiery kick to it. Squid was fresh, love the eggs. Bread was springy fluffy and the kaya was addictive.

It was so good from my first experience that I had to come back one more time before I fly out, so the last pic was my sliced fish porridge. Good stuff. Love it!

Yes I know, I'm a bit in love with this neighbourhood. So this round we went to check out Kon La Moh for lunch in Thonglor.

As usual I need my fix of my tomyam to gauge the restaurant. It's always a must order if I have Thai food with dishes. It was good so was the eggs with prawn below. We're going super seafood for todays lunch.

Some crabs with tang hoon, some river prawns(I think it was river) all executed beautifully. 

I forgot what the last dish was, by then I was already food coma. Bear in mind there was only two of us finishing all this food. Food is extremely good but I suggest you come with more people so can order more!

Hotaru 119 Omakase & Izakaya - Sanampao @ Bangkok, Thailand.

I became a lamp post and crashed a couple's lunch omakase :D Well, they did the booking and I just came with my hungry tummy! I forgot how many courses was it but boy was I full after this meal.

The lunch omakase was splendid. The quality of ingredients is top notch. The whole course will take some time, so best pair it with a sake bottle or two. And trust me, please make sure you skip breakfast before heading here.

Chance upon this place while googling what's for dinner in this area. A Japanese izakaya with a modern take on some of its dishes.

We only ordered a few dishes to try but everything was impeccable. Food is tasty and presentation was good. Staff was friendly and courteous.

So while waiting for our queue to Jeh O Chula we came here for some desserts. Place is packed when we got in, but trust me it's worth coming here. 

Definitely a must go if you're around this area. So many choices of desserts and everything was super yummy.
