Kacang Pool Mustafa @ Geylang Serai Market And Food Centre, Singapore.

I had a sudden craving for Kacang Pool for breakfast. My first time testing out this stall.

Single fried egg with bits of onions and green chillies on top of kacang pool. Comes with a baguette on the side to dip.

The yolk was still runny, mix it all up, definitely satisfied my cravings. There's another stall here selling the same stuff, will check it out next time.

River South (Hoe Nam) Prawn Noodle @ Tai Thong Crescent, Singapore.

So here I was for a brunch hunt out for prawn noodles.

You order your food, get a buzzer find a table, and pick up your food later.

Additional fish cake, actually not bad, goes well with your noodle.

Ordered a medium sized prawn noodle soup. The broth was actually delicious, prawns were hearty but the portion was ok, gotta order the additional fish cake to complete a satisfying meal.

Chia Bee Lor Mee @ North Bridge Road, Singapore.

So here I was on an early weekend breakfast. I heard this place is a favourite for late suppers as it opens from 2am right up till around 10am, I might be wrong.

The bowl came with generous portions of battered shark meat, thick gooey sauce and sambal plus cencalok on the side.

The gravy is a bit bland, but once u mix everything in, that's where the magic happens. Superb, so for you late night party goers do check this place out.

Kedai Makan Rahmat @ Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia.

So here I was for lunch after a good friend of mine picked me up from downtown JB. Quite a rustic place, and the view was superb, can see Pulau Ubin.

Ikan bilis petai, chicken curry and deep fried siakap, the fish was just excellent.

Some cabbage and ikan bilis peanuts. The soya sauce on the left goes well with the deep fried fish/

We came a bit late, the big prawns were sold out, but this small suckers tasty as hell. The food here is good, it definitely fix my malay food cravings.

Senmi Sushi Bar @ Emporium Shokuhin, Marina Square, Singapore.

So here I was for my chirashi fix, and I was going full on and ordered the Giant chirashi bowl.

Ain't that a nice looking colours for a bowl, fully loaded with diced fishes. I made a grave error though, I assumed by ordering a Giant Chirashi, the bowl would come out with a  power packed version of a chirashi, but instead it came with more ingredients which could feed a party of two. So imagine my horror sitting there alone with no heads up with this huge platter/bowl of chirashi in front of me.

Don't get me wrong, food was tasty and good. My only qualms was the wasabe sigh, oh well you pay for what you get. Love the ikura though, am a sucker for it.

Sean Kee Duck Rice @ Geylang Road, Singapore.

If you google braised duck in Singapore, one of the top names that comes out is Sean Kee at Geylang. I'm not generally a fan of braised duck, prefer them roasted but after hearing the fuss about this place, definitely had to go and check it out.

Rice with some sauce on top, the sambal chilli is awesome, better load them up more. Now the soup, my personal favourite, I slurped down the whole bowl. Got some kinda herbal taste to it.

I went nuts on ordering, some tofus, eggs, duck liver and meat, basically the whole works. It came garnished with taugeh/beansprouts and some peanuts. Careful of the sauce, very very addictive. I just mixed everything with the rice plus sambal. No wonder this place come tops, a very good plate of braised duck indeed.

Tarte By Cheryl Koh @ Shaw Centre, Singapore.

I am not a dessert person, or more like I tend to stay away from it, as I'm a sucker for sweet stuff. So here I was after brunch, following some people for desserts, and I'm suppose to get my usual caffeine fix.

Now look at all those sweet looking tarts, damn it. I got suckered instantly and felt like a small kid in a big candy store.

Orderered fig, green tea, pistachio and caramel hazelnut to share. Sublime, especially the caramel hazelnut. These little suckers are truly devils.

They also have some eclairs, but I was too busy enjoying the tarts. Kudos to the chef, I really did enjoy my desserts here.
