Om Pot Biryani (Mannpaanai) @ Brickfields, KL, Malaysia.

If you want something good, you have to wait for it to be cooked. Best is to call in advance and make your order. Now this briyani is worth the wait, trust me.

My ice lemon tea was served in an earthen pot. Below is the claypot briyani freshly cooked and poured onto the banana leaf.

I ordered the mutton and my friend had the chicken. One of the best briyani I tasted, flavours were all nicely infused. Pair it with the spicy curry, yup this is one legit meal. Both the mutton and chicken were tender and smooth. My advice skip breakfast, indulge yourself to this hearty lunch and be prepared for food coma through out the whole afternoon in office. Amazing!

Hot Pot Mee Tarik No. 1 @ Jalan Raja Chulan, KL, Malaysia.

An unassuming place that serves a good beef noodle and lamb satay aka China Muslim style.

Love the noodles, broth was superb although the beef portion was a bit smalls. But heck that means more lamb skewers to eat. Lamb skewers were absolutely gorgeous. A must order.

Sup Gear Box Kambing Abg Atan @ Sri Aman Food Centre, Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.

I keep coming back to this corner shop Food Centre, they have quite a few decent stalls. Today I tested the sup gear box kambing Abang Atan. They sell other stuff as well.

You have the option to pair it with bread baguette or rice. As I was a bit hungry, opted for rice. Oh my this is one mean bowl of sup gearbox. The broth was excellent, nice depth with complex flavours. Nice amount of meat plus sucking out the juicy parts in the middle of the bone, ahhhhh yummy.

Kedai Makanan Nam Heong @ Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia.

Another favourite for Ipoh white coffee would be this kopi tiam at the old town of Ipoh side. This coffee shop have a few stalls selling food plus the famous egg tart.

I had the hakka mee with some ytf on the side. Always a must order if you're in Ipoh is the sar kok liew, to die for. Quite a delightful plate of hakka mee.

Last but not least, the white coffee. Slurps, doesn't look much but trust me it's a satisfying cup of kopi.
