Phở Long Hói - 122 Hồ Nghinh @ Da Nang, Vietnam.

Solo trip this round and I tried this pho near the hotel.

It's alright, a bit clean tasting but then again my tastebud is more accustomed to Saigon style pho.

Oh! Fish and Chips • TTDI • Food Truck @ TTDI, KL, Malaysia.

Finally managed to score this fish and chips from a food truck in TTDI. I came at the odd hour around 4pm and after my order was done, people were coming in non stop. Talk about constant flow of business, nicely done guys.

My packet of fish and chips, comes with two beautiful crusted fish fillets and addictive chips. Is it me or the chips kinda feel like Malaysian flavoured. Taste texture is a bit like keropok lekor but it's chips. Oh well, maybe its only me. Comes with condiment on the sides. Taste wise superb, everything tasted fresh. Price on point, quite affordable. Only gripe is they open only after lunch.

Klang Hilton aka Restoran Siow Tiow @ Klang, Selangor, Malaysia.

The infamous Restaurant Siow Tiow in Klang, or more known to people as Klang Hilton. This is an old school sze char, known for being a nazi and accepts only cash. Do bring a stack of cash, because they don't call it Klang Hilton for nothing. Even the signage of the restaurant is nearly gone.

So me being my first time here, I'll let my tour guide do the ordering. Pro tip, bring a local to bring you here and knows the staff. I had a jolly good time here for lunch, zero nazi treatment lol. Prawns were done really well, the orh chien was superb.

We ordered two types of noodles both were full of wok hei and tasted damn freaking good.

Last was the pomfret fish, another one of their signature dish you have to order. I gotta admit, this place really does live to its reputation. Old school taste with plenty of heart warming dishes.

Seni Sattisorru @ Brickfields, KL, Malaysia.

Haven't had this in ages, so when my mates were going here for lunch, I decided to crash them. What's not to love about cooking rice in curry in a claypot.

They got some fresh seafood if that is your liking. Each claypot are made to order below.

Ordered some fried sotong to share, very addictive. I tried the chicken one before, but I still prefer the mutton. Claypot came piping hot, soaked in curry.

If you prefer a heavier taste, opt for the mutton. To die for! And chopped plus confirmed your afternoon session would be food coma.

Lum Kee Laksa - 霖记叻沙 @ PJ, Selangor, Malaysia.

Fancy a halal prawn mee or asam laksa in Seksyen 14. PJ folks am sure you all know this stall located at Seksyen 14 Food Court. Oh they serve curry noodles or soup as well.

I ordered the prawn noodle, bowl was nicely presented. Broth was super shiok that I finished everything. Portions were just nice.

Warung Kak Yah @ Kuala Dungun, Terengganu, Malaysia.

We did a pit stop here for brunch, place was packed with people. For a roadside stall I was impressed with the amount of local spread they serve here.

Few sambals to choose from. Everything was wicked!

Food was definitely on the plus side, the beef soup was excellent as well. No wonder this placed was packed.

Rojak SS15 Subang Jaya @ Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

Popped by for a quick snack and ordered a rojak sotong. Place is clean and airy. Service was quite fast too.

Prices are reasonable.

Ain't that a beaut, portions were generous and love the sauce. Very addictive. They're quite famous for their cendol too but I didn't try.

Nasi Lemak Shop @ Sunway 163 Mall, KL, Malaysia.

If you're around 163 Mall and cravings for a nasi lemak, do check out this shop.  There were three of us, we ordered nasi lemak with fried chicken, the standard basic nasi lemak and a nasi lemak with chicken curry.

Of course we ordered extra side dishes to share. One thing I like about this shop, they're not kedekut with their sambal, it's free flow but do not to waste it please. Portions were good, sambal was spot on. Thumbs up for this nasi lemak!

Nikudake Halal Wagyu Sukiyaki @ Hat Yai, Thailand.

I was alone on this leg of the trip and been wanting to check out this yakiniku place.

The menu is well laid out so no issue here on what to order.

I had the server grilled the beef for me, not bad. Quite bursting with flavour. Portions were just nice.

AO Khanom Seafood อ่าวขนอมซีฟู้ด @ Khanom, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand.

What a beautiful day it was, and for today lunch we went to AO Khanom Seafood. Place was pretty empty when we got in. Tonnes of seafood to choose from and the view was simply amazing.

There was only two of us but we ordered a bunch of food. Taste wise splendid. Ingredients was fresh and no complains on the serving size portion here. Just lay back, have a couple of beers, slowly savour the nice food, watch the amazing view of the ocean and far on the horizon is Koh Samui.
