Pho Hai Thien @ Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Just got in to the hotel, dropped my bags, ask the reception where's a good pho nearby. Directed me to this joint.

Can't explain much about the menu, ordered a mixed beef beef pho.

Check that out, ain't that look just to die for.

The greens that came with it to put in was fresh.

Then I realised this pho shop specialises in their own noodle. The noodle colours are made from natural vegetables.  The noodles are different, so that is a nice touch. The broth is good, meat is not bad. Kinda pricey but hey first time I had this kinda pho noodles.

Neptune Hong Kong Snacks @ Marine Parade Central Market and Food Centre, Singapore.

Still at the same hawker centre, we ordered dim sum to share. Affordable and yummy. I think this is one of those dim sum places with no frills.

The ccf with prawns inside, it did satisfy my cravings.

And some fried greasy stuff, awesome. If Singapore had a dim sum cart by the road side this would be it. Feels kinda old school the food.

Nanbattei Japanese Restaurant @ Far East Plaza, Singapore.

Been quite some time since we went yakitori. Friend booked this place, and I have to admit, another good joint. The place is packed, so better call and get a reservation.

The chicken was done nicely, juicy and succulent.

Can't stop munching on this with the addictive miso(I think) sauce.

Some sashimi, not bad. I was more into the meat stuff and sake.

Favourite of the night would be the tsukune(chicken balls).

Shishamo and egg plant(I think).

The grilled squid was another star item for that night.

A must order is the corn, not sure why but taste refreshing.

Oh yes not to forget the ox or beef tongue. Super yummy.

Lastly the lamb! Hmmm I guess everything was delicious haha. A nice restaurant over sake, food and not to forget a bunch of good friends.

Ramly Burger Stall @ Ipoh Garden, Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia.

Craving for those old school burgers again and a friend recommended to try this joint. It's located in Ipoh Garden near/opposite diagonally KFC.

Stall managed by two friendly chaps. And they have quite a selection of choice to choose from, chicken beef ramly or oblongs and hotdogs.

Went for the double patty burger of a single each chicken and beef plus egg. Yup sounds wrong, but I wanted best of both worlds. Good stuff, definitely satisfied my cravings. Not stingy on the dressings and sauce, next round gonna try the oblong burgers.

Big Tree Foot Asam Laksa Yong Tau Foo @ Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia.

Still on my asam laksa cravings, went and check out this famous joint in Ipoh. Its called Dai Shui Geok or direct translation Big Tree foot.

Tonnes and tonnes of ytf to choose from. Yummy!

And the infamous sar kok liew. You can't get this anywhere except in Ipoh. Personal favourite.

Ordered a dry koew teow mee. Can't get enough of this thing. Somehow Ipoh dry noodles drenched in soya sauce hits the spot.

And the asam laksa, yups good stuff. Can't find any complains here. The ytf pieces was super addictive.

Definitely a place I'll be back to.

Falim Laksa Stall @ Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia.

Impeccable timing, managed to come here on a Sunday, heard that's the only business day. So better time your makan sessions. I love a good asam laksa, and they managed to satisfy my cravings.

Walk up to the stall operator, choose your yong tau foo, and tell how many bowl of laksa you want. And trust me, the ytf is first class. super duper yummy.

The asam laksa is good, although I would prefer a bit more ommph, but the ytf sides make up for it. Good stuff. Simply divine, where else can you find asam laksa with ytf if not in Ipoh.

Epok Epok Central @ Eunos Crescent Market And Food Centre, Singapore.

The epok epok wasn't ready, had the nasi lemak instead. Luckily the queue was moving quite fast.

Only wished I had the time to wait for the epok epok.

Oh well back to the nasi lemak, they packed it there and then, fresh! A simple nasi lemak that comes with thin cuts of omellete, cucumber, ikan bilis, peanuts and sambal..  Sambal was quite the kicker in this one.
