Lee Ga Korean Noodles Restaurant (함흥냉면) @ Desa Sri Hartamas, KL, Malaysia.

Fancy for some Korean cold noodles in KL? You can check it out at this place.

Menu is pretty straight forward with English translation. Servers were friendly, you can ask for their guide like I did. Love the beef broth soup served in a tea pot below, very refreshing.

My mate had the spicy cold noodle where as I went for the normal cold noodle. This is good stuff, perfect for a hot day. The noodles can be a bit chewy but I kinda like the texture. We ended up the meal with a mandu/dumpling each. Superb.

Friend suggested here for dinner and boy am I glad to find this place. Good sze char and prices are affordable. We ordered most of their star dishes.

Dinner was excellent, food is good. Love their asam fish (we ordered the stingray). Will definitely come back in the future with a bigger group to sample more of their dishes.

Orh Chien (Fried Oyster Omelette) @ Kedai Kopi Seng Thor @ George Town, Penang, Malaysia.

After the koew teow thng, walk further a bit and get  a plate of this greasy smack licking addictive orh chien. The chef non stop frying the oyster omelette, plates after plates.

The end product is this beautiful starchy gooey orh chien. Pair it with the sambal on the side, match made in heaven. Good stuff!

113 Duck Meat Koey Teow Theng @ George Town, Penang, Malaysia.

My first time trying duck meat koew teow th'ng. We checked out this joint called Kedai Makanan & Minuman Satu Satu Tiga 113.

We ordered our own bowl with some taugeh to share. Broth is clean tasting but has a wholesome feel to it. Taugeh was fresh and crunchy. Quite a good start for breakfast.

Dannok Cafe Hokkien Mee @ George Town, Penang, Malaysia.

When in Penang, Hokkien mee is prawn noodles and this round I'm checking out Dannok Cafe for my first time. The uncle mending the stall is a friendly chap.

I ordered a mee hoon mee prawn noodle with fish balls and my friend added the ribs. I gotta say a good decent bowl, the umami hits the right spot. The fish balls was also a nice added touch to it, springy and fresh. Who would have thought to add fishballs to hokkien mee.

Would I come back, yup! You can count on it.

Hot Bowl White Curry Mee @ George Town, Penang, Malaysia.

Normally in Penang, my must fix would be a ckt and asam laksa. This trip I'm gonna try the other stuff I've been missing on. First up is the white curry mee @ Hot Bowl.

The steamed chicken is super good, definitely a must order. We ordered for sharing, you can have it as chicken rice also. See quite a few tables eating chicken rice.

A bowl of white curry mee, with your choice of toppings. Oh my, a super rich creamy broth. Something delightful. Add a dollop of the sambal or more, the broth became another super umami level. I'm hooked. Superb bowl that I cleansed everything to the last drop.
