Quan An Ngon @ Hanoi, Vietnam.

Got in, dumped our bags at the airbnb, straight went for lunch here. It's a restaurant with hawker setting selling all kinds of local food.

Thankfully we had a local friend who did all the ordering for us.

Pho to start and a must order is the beer Hanoi!!! Beef salad below.

This place is packed with tourists and locals. Food is superb, I love it! Place is clean, comfortable and the bunch of food on offering is what made me love this place. A must go if you are ever in Hanoi.

Wan Tan Mee Kedai Koon Kee @ Petaling Street, KL, Malaysia.

Back in Petaling Street and this time we went and check out the infamous wtm at Kedai Koon Kee.

The wtm is excellent, nicely coated in the gravy. No wonder people flocked here for its noodles.

I Love Pho Express @ IPC, PJ, Malaysia.

Yay they have opened I Love Pho franchise in Malaysia. They are located at the food court in Ben's Independent Grocer.

We ordered some rice paper rolls for starters which was quite good.

As usual, I'll order the mix beef pho. Add in some healthy dose of chilli oil ah yummy. Verdict, I still find the Melbourne outlets better (maybe its the weather placebo effect, cold + soupy noodles), but here it's still good.

ICC Pudu @ Pudu, KL, Malaysia

This place is fast becoming my favourite lunch place. Plenty of choices for food and the hainam coffee is a killer.

Had a beef noodle mix spare parts. As you enter ICC, walk in and you'll see it on the right with a clear signage beef noodles. Surprisingly this is top notch. The soup tasted  like the real deal and the portions are huge. Ok not easy on the wallet but I reckon it's worth every penny.

The next visit I tried the fishball noodles from the Hainanese Asam Laksa stall. Decent. Still more stalls to try.

Restoran Sek Yuen @ Pudu, KL, Malaysia.

First time here, seems this is a local institution for old school Cantonese cuisine. We came here for lunch. There's two sections, one is air conditioned and one is not. We went to the non aircond one.

The food is really good, love the roast duck, chicken, fish. The wan tan mee is a must order, superb. A good restaurant for Cantonese dishes be it for family or friends.

MiMi Korean Restaurant @ Ara Damansara, PJ, Selangor, Malaysia.

Korean food for lunch and off we went to check out a place in Ara Damansara. They serve the usual fare, but I was more interested in the hotpot.

The side dishes were lovely, actually tasted like home cooked. Pancake with quarter stolen, we were too hungry and couldn't wait.

The chicken octopus set with kimchi soup base add on ramen. They have a few soup base available, which I will come back and try :) The kimchi soup was seriously awesome, coupled with the fresh ramen (not the instant ones), I think I can have this everyday! The chicken pieces and octopus was marinated just right, well, to my taste buds that is.

Fishball Noodle @ Kedai Kopi Yee Hong @ Pudu, KL, Malaysia.

Found another no frills place for a good fish ball noodle. Located below the flats in San Peng, parking here can be a bit difficult. But that doesn't stop this place from being packed with customers.

Price is reasonable and the portions are big, good stuff. Definitely one of the better ones for fish ball noodle in KL.
