Teochew Seafood Noodle House @ Damansara Jaya, PJ, Selangor, Malaysia.

Had to slowly walk find this place as there was no signboard outside the shop. It's facing Atria if that helps, but I can say it's worth it. It hits my spot perfectly if you're craving for a good Teochew fish noodle soup.

I ordered the pomfret with koew teow. Was feeling a bit extravagant today, add on a portion of oysters.

Love the portions, they're not shy with the toppings. Soup was just what I needed to clear my hangover. A very good bowl of fish noodle soup. As I was paying my bill, I saw they had like home made fishballs. Will be back next time to try the fishballs as well.

Tonkatsu By Wa Kitchen @ Pavilion, KL, Malaysia.

Tonkatsu for lunch, not bad at all. Portions were generous, came with a starter, pickled something, miso, rice and salad.

Food is good, will definitely be back here for lunch again.

Tokyo Kibou-Ken Ramen @ Kushiyaki Kuni @ Plaza Damas, KL, Malaysia.

So I walked past by this yakitori place and saw the Tokyo Kibou-Ken ramen being advertised. Not sure whether it's a partnership or a temporary pop up store. Decided to check it out next round I was here.

Went for the original and my mate ordered the spicy one. Not bad, I kinda like it. Portion was decent, broth was a bit light, so you won't get the jelakness. The spicy version tasted a bit weird, like a china la mian bowl or something. I'll stick to the original ramen.

Kedai Kopi Taman Eng Ann @ Klang, Selangor, Malaysia.

This corner kopi shop has some decent stalls inside.

We ordered a bun and some toast to share, not bad. Kaya was good.

I personally ordered the dry curry bee hoon with extra cockles. Superb. We ordered some chicken rice to share also, not bad.

Food is good, place was buzzing when I got here for breakfast on weekends. Must be a testament for good food. And my eye spy the Nibong Tebal prawn noodles stall, should be good as I suspect it's connected to the one I went to Setia Alam one.

Naga Jolokia YTF @ Jinjang, KL, Malaysia.

My friend recommended this place for brunch as she knows I love ytf. Seriously I do not know what's the restaurant called, did some google search, best name I came find is Naga Jolokia ytf as per http://www.daphnescapades.com/naga-jolokia-ghost-chilli-yong-tau-foo/ website.

They have quite a good selection of ytf to choose from and depending on the day you come, they have side dishes to serve as well.

So that's what they're famous for(the chilli bit wrapped in a tofu skin) the naga jolokia, aka ghost chilli. For those heat spicy loving fuckers, you ought to check out this place. The ghost chilli ytf is freaking spicy. The other ytf is good, they're not stingy with the portions and I feel is more authentic with more fish than flour in their ytf.

You have to get the ghost chilli sambal, numbed me lips but damn freaking nice to dip my ytf in.

As and when what day you're here as I mentioned earlier, today when I visted, their side dishes some braised pork and the lala wine. Pork was good and the lala was even a top notch, KILLER! You definitely have to order it.

Shakarich @ Thonglor, Bangkok, Thailand.

While looking for a good spot for happy hours in Thonglor, I noticed a few japanese people coming down from their car/grab and going through this small lorong. Curiosity piqued and I also went in lah this small lorong. Fucking hell a proper Jap restaurant in an unmarked alley. Never mind, friend called and off I went for happy hours. Managed to convince the bunch during happy hours, we came back here for a late dinner and more booze.

More sake to open up the appetite. Presentation was well done and the food? Fucking spectacular, totally blew off my mind.

In Colonial Restaurant @ The Intermark, KL, Malaysia.

I'm starting to like this place for lunch. Comfy setting with excellent sze char dishes.

I think some chicken, beef which my friend ordered. Both tasted umami.

The fish soup is a must order, slices of fish in a nice hearty broth. The tang hoon below infused nicely with the prawns.

The scallops was beautifully done. I think this is my third time here, sampled quite a bit of their menu and so far no complains.

Restoran Nur Anggerik @ USJ 2, Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

Time for some nasi lemak action for dinner and boy did I bring a lot of backups to sample all the mouth watering dishes. We just went nuts and order almost everything.

I think that was ayam rendang on top. Below four types of vege, tempe or is that potato as well?

Pic at the bottom should be some cockles, sotong, beef rendang and lungs.

And I think this was the ayam masak merah. Simple nasi lemak served on top of a banana leaf with anchovies, nuts and cucumber plus a fried egg on top. Now check that sambal out, absolutely a killer. Honestly, I'm a bit old fashioned, gimme the nasi plus some anchovies and nuts, a LARGE dollop of sambal, I'm happy. Food is good here, enough said.

Oh still not enough from the nasi lemak fiesta, we ordered some satay to share. Not bad, meaty and had some nice bits of fats in it. Blimey, I should have added some sambal into the satay sauce. Oh well there's always a next time.

Bonus tip, roti padang try it! The satay and roti padang we ordered from the stalls opposite the restaurant.
