Asam Pedas Askar Pencen @ Muar, Johor, Malaysia.

Back in Muar again and this round we went off to check out Asam Pedas Askar Pencen. They have a wide range of menu available including bbq fish. Rest assured the seafood is fresh!

Got a bbq stingray to share, some asam pedas daging tetel, fried omelette and some fish roe asam pedas. Smother the sauce on a warm bed of rice, drizzle in a bit of soya sauce and the feast begins. Oh damn, it hits the spot. Yummy!!!

Finally, I managed to try the telur ikan mayong. Something different but it was superb. Would I order it again? A bit of a rich indulgence for me to finish the whole bowl but for sharing, will definitely order it. A beautiful lunch definitely worth checking out the place.

Yun Ga Traditional Korean Restaurant @ East Coast Road, Singapore.

Came here twice for lunch in a span of a month. Love it. Simple dishes but pack with flavours. Nice selection of banchans.

First time we tried the cold noodles as well, very refreshing. The army stew, portions were huge and taste wise superb.

Indeed both meals were spectacular.
