Sin Ming Roti Prata @ Sin Ming Road, Singapore.

Finally I've got myself here, after being kidnapped by a friend. Another good contender for prata in Singapore.

Haven't had this type of coin prata in ages, decided to give it a go. Thick and small, this suckers pack quite a decent punch.

The curry was good, we tried both fish and mutton. It went very well with the prata.

Last but not least a prata kosong, excellent. One of top five pratas for me in Singapore.

Manzoku @ Purvis Street, Singapore.

Been quite some time, then I remember about this place. Sunday lunch no queue, a lot of ample space and the staff is courteous. I've found a good place for a chirashi bowl.

Quiet and cosy, nice place to escape the hustle and bustle. Not sure how busy it gets dinner time though.

Thick slices of sashimi on the chirashi bowl, a very good value for money, slurps.

Ut Trang @ Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Was looking for a roadside restaurant where the locals would go to, and after some research we decided to check this place out. They're famous for all sorts of shellfish, snails clams etc, which goes well with beers!

The shop was bustling with locals chillaxing, watching football, snacking and drinking.

The menu is pretty extensive with English translation.

Different dips to pair with your seafood.

Ah my personal favourite see hum! Excellent.

The scallops was equally good.

Bamboo clams is a must order, think was butter and chilli.

Seriously, this place rocks, beers and seafood, I'm a satisfied customer.

Banh Canh Ghe Muoi Ot Xanh @ Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Now I didn't know they serve an awesome crab noodle soup in Vietnam. This was a hidden gem that I found via back of the bike street food tours that I went.

Ocean crab soup, fish cake with tapioca noodles(the noodles was like koew teow but thicker and has a nice chew to it). The soup was hearty, not thick and just nice.

Goes very very good with Bia Saigon.

The crabs were fresh and ample meat.

Definitely would be back here next round I'm down in HCM.

My Banh Mi @ Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

After checking out the Post Office, my friend was hungry for a snack, did a quick google and he found out around the corner was this banh mi joint. Off we went and it was like literally 3 mins walk from the post office, lol.

We ordered the beef banh mi. Seriously a bit pricey, but you get what you paid for. The beef was awesome, the bread was crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. The menu did say they use fine cuts and good quality beef, hence the price tag.

Good chill out place, good food and nice view to people watch if your seated outside.

Pho Le @ Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

If you are ever in HCM, I'll definitely suggest go for those food tours, it's actually quite fun and the food is good. The experience itself riding on a motorbike in mad traffic, is one of a kind! Anyway my guide recommended me here for pho.

The restaurant is big, and was kinda empty when we got here around 10ish am.

As usual mix beef pho.

Check that out, a mountain of sides, I guess they anticipating a lot of customers.

The chilli, good stuff. Think the best I tasted so far in this leg of my journey.

Looks messy but trust me, the broth is wonderful coupled with the chilli, superb. The beef was tender, and the beef balls addictive. Special thanks to my guide that recommended this place. Guess gotta trust the locals when it comes to food.

And true enough, by the time we left the place, the crowds were coming in. Awesome pho joint.

Pho Quynh @ Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Still on my pho craze, went to check out this corner shop at Pham Ngu Lao. Google it and seems quite a popular place around District 1.

Not bad, have an English menu (I'm always wary if they have english menu, lol) and the servers can speak English.

Place is big and clean, easy get seats when we went for late breakfast around 10ish.

A bowl of mixed beef pho with garnishing on the sides. Just excellent, I like it. We ended up coming here twice for breakfast. Don't forget to order the coffee too, sweet and packed a punch.
