Fancy for some nyonya food? Off we went to this joint near Sri Aman school. Located in a quaint quiet old row of shophouses.

Lo and behold the prawn petai, simply smashing and they're not skimpy with the stinky beans. The beef rendang was another crowd pleaser.

Asam claypot pomfret fish was equally good and so were the ayam buah keluak.  The food is good, I have to commend that.

Some desserts to finish off our lunch, I think that was the kuih bingka. Quite good. Alright now my nyonya food craving has been fixed!

It's the weekend and a bunch of us decided to have lunch here. We just went bonkers and ordered a variety of dishes.

Some angmoh salad with fish skin(think was dusted with salted egg) with the jap sesame sauce dressing. Sinful but absolute delight.The fried mee suah is a must order, my highlight for the lunch.

Home made fish balls? cake? Good stuff, love it. Below is the curry wrapped in bread, comfort food.

Sorry the other must order lol, my highlight for the lunch. Fried tapioca noodles, oh my, very very addictive. Can't stop slurping this fried noodles.

Some fish, clams and loh mee suah. More hits then misses, overall a very enjoyable lunch indeed. Would I be back, yeah I would.

Nasi Dagang @ Rumah Makan Boss AJ @ Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.

Finally made it here for breakfast. They serve quite a spread ranging from nasi kerabu to nasi dagang to nasi lemak. I'm here for the nasi dagang, next round for sure will check out the nasi kerabu.

The nasi dagang set with ikan tongkol. Beautiful, I gobbled up the whole plate clean, minus the fish bones of course. Oh by the way, don't forget to order their teh ais, reminds me of thai milk tea, slurps.

Came here for dinner for some Italian food with a few Malaysian twist of flavours.

The starters were good, nicely done. Rich burrata cheese with salmon roe with clean tasting tomatoes balanced that dish out. The salads were good too. Soft shell crab pasta was another rich dish, just nice not to the point of jelak.

Now let's get on to the pizza, ahhh man lovely. Total comfort food I can have this everyday. Just superb.

Sorry for the half pic pizza, before I could take a snap the group devoured the pizza. I think below was the lamb raviolli dish which was my favourite for the night. If you love lamb, order it!

Squid ink pasta, Yummy! I find the place serves good food and the plus side the staff are friendly and helpful.

Lala Bee Hoon Soup @ The Nest @ IMBI, KL, Malaysia.

So there's a new hipster food court smack in down town KL at Jalan Imbi called The Nest. We were here for lunch and my eye caught this stall with a long queue selling lala bee hoon soup.

We waited for quite some time for the dish to be cooked but worth the wait. The servings were pretty generous, like a lot of lala. Damn! Broth was good, nicely laden with rice wine.

Another unassuming joint for my fish noodles fix.

Today I opted for fish paste yee mee with milk. Good stuff and portions were decent.
