Bala's Banana Leaf @ Bangsar, KL, Malaysia.

Came here for a banana leaf rice and ended up trying the briyani instead. Lo and behold, what a sight for my lunch. Portions were good, taste wise even freaking better. Good stuff, definitely food coma after this.

We also ordered a portion each of tenggiri and sotong, just to try it out. Yup both were equally good, I reckon the banana leaf rice should be good, will try it the next time.

Toss N Curry @ DU, PJ, Selangor, Malaysia.

Had a beautiful atas banana leaf rice lunch in Uptown, DU. One of my friends was feeling peckish so she opted for some fish curry and bread.

We ordered some stuff to be shared, fish tenggiri was one of them.

The banana leaf rice set on it's own is just splendid, the dhall omg! I don't remember how long ago I've tasted a dhall this good. Even the dessert were nice.

Forgot which is which, think we did two types of mutton, fried ikan bulus below and the last dish should be the sizzling chicken vindaloo.

Now, I would comment the dishes, portion is a bit small compared to other places and prices are a bit on the high side. But honestly the taste and quality of each dish, it's just on a different level. I guess they're using high quality ingredients and don't skimp on the spices. Nice, I'll be back!

Taiwan Beef Noodles @ Restoran Hock Hin @ Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

Back in Subang Jaya again to check out this stall serving Taiwanese style beef noodles. It's located in a corner coffee shop in SS19.

Ordered a mix beef koew teow soup, portions were generous. Broth was a bit light, not the smack in your face kind but it's kinda refreshing. A decent bowl indeed.

Lian Jie Noodle House 莲姐 @ Pudu, KL, Malaysia.

This place serves quite a range of noodles but they are well known for their wine noodles.

Just look at those plumpy cockles in the curry mee. Prices here can be a bit on the high side but with portions like this, I'm not complaining. The bentong tau pok, slurps yummy.

That's the chicken wine noodle and I had the lala wine noodle below. Superb, what a beautiful lunch this session was.
