Nasi Padang @ Bundo Kanduang, Batam, Indonesia.

When in Rome, do what the romans do, and if your in a new place, best to go on with it or in this case , eat like a local do. Nasi padang is basically rice with just loads and loads of dish, it's like a feast, alot of dishes to sample from. And damn it's good stuff, they sure know how to cook.

I was a bit lucky as this restaurant was located opposite the hotel I was staying in. A quick brunch before heading back to the jetty.

Top left is the fried chicken with spices, good stuff. Top right grilled crispy beef, crunchy and nice. Bottom left is the beef tendon in coconut gravy, i just love tendons. And the last dish was the beef rendang.

Some fish in sambal, i find it so so, on the left was chicken cooked in the coconut gravy again same goes with the squid, honestly i find the coconut gravy addictive as its thick and spicy.

Bottom left was the egg omelette, puffy and crispy. Top left is some vege, and the killer dish was the green color one, sambal hijau(green chilli), I just adore it to bits, mix it up with the warm rice, heaven on earth.
