My colleagues was raving about this decent affordable teochew porridge in Bukit Merah View. After the whole fiasco of the uncle about the hole in the shirt, support a bit, and see how good the food fares.

And boy trust me, i wasn't the only one supporting, the queue was long and more than normal as my colleague mentioned.

There was a few of us, and my colleague just went nuts and ordered a whole lot.

Ok truth be told, i was already a bit tipsy when we got here. There was a lot of dishes, a few hit and misses. But i remembered the fish was so so. The rest is quite decent.

All in all, good comfort food, a bit like those you have when you have a communal gathering when your mom or grandma cooking. It's good stuff, and friendly on the wallet too. You know it's good if a lot of cabbies come here for dinner/supper, can't go wrong. Another place i'll be back!
