Nasi Lemak CT Garden @ Kampung Baru, Kl , Malaysia.

No matter what people say, whether the standard has dropped or not, this nasi lemak is wicked in my textbook. Yes, there's been a few times the rice was not at par but the dishes is still there. This place has sort of became an institution for me for late supper. I was first introduced to this nasi lemak where they have a branch at Chow Kit road, somewhere near there ages ago, it's still there if my memory recalls, I like to come to this main branch as the parking was easier. At that time, the dishes didn't mean much, we normally wack the nasi lemak packet which costs at 60 cents rgt. My record was 6 packs, and at that time, it was a bit of punting, if your lucky, your packet would consists of the sambal and jackpot petai/smelly beans. Enough of the memory lane, the petai jackpot is no longer there.

Not sure why it's called Kedai Makan CT Roses now.

Must order dishes, sambal kerang/see ham/cockles, sambal sotong/cuttlefish and paru/beef lungs. The dishes here is abundant, have your pick, The packets on the left is the nasi lemak which is wrapped in banana leaf to infuse the flavour.

And a standard pack consists of rice, sambal and a bit of hard boiled egg. It now costs 80 cents rgt, you need a couple packets to enjoy your meal, as the servings is small, but it's addictive. The sambal is spicy, just the way I like it. One of my favourite nasi lemak joints, especially for supper.
