Still recovering from a hangover, could use some soupy meal. Friend brought me over to this place near our hotel. What a gem it was, how did I miss this place all this while. Perfect brunch place for your hangover. 

I needed something to wake me up, Ordered a tomyam noodle soup with squid. Check out that egg yolk! Friend ordered a fish porridge. As for desserts we had the steam bread with pandan kaya(I think). Everything was divine. My tomyam broth had a fiery kick to it. Squid was fresh, love the eggs. Bread was springy fluffy and the kaya was addictive.

It was so good from my first experience that I had to come back one more time before I fly out, so the last pic was my sliced fish porridge. Good stuff. Love it!

Yes I know, I'm a bit in love with this neighbourhood. So this round we went to check out Kon La Moh for lunch in Thonglor.

As usual I need my fix of my tomyam to gauge the restaurant. It's always a must order if I have Thai food with dishes. It was good so was the eggs with prawn below. We're going super seafood for todays lunch.

Some crabs with tang hoon, some river prawns(I think it was river) all executed beautifully. 

I forgot what the last dish was, by then I was already food coma. Bear in mind there was only two of us finishing all this food. Food is extremely good but I suggest you come with more people so can order more!

Restoran Bawal Goreng Panas Simpang Lawin, Kuala Kangsar @ Kuala Kangsar, Perak, Malaysia.

We went to check out this restaurant for lunch which serves yes ikan goreng bawal. Malay style no fuss, a simple road side restaurant big and airy. Full of car park space. Passed by this restaurant so many times and finally managed to try it.

Ordered the standard rice set with fish, we added some ikan sembilang to share. Man this place rocks. Although the menu looks simple, but it definitely packed a punch.

I enjoyed both the sambals. Fish was fried to perfection, crispy on the outside and the flesh is moist. Will definitely stop by here again if I'm passing through.

Alright second time this place for dinner, it's becoming a personal favourite of mine. Food is amazing and service is fast.

Fresh seafood in front of the shop to choose from. As usual a bowl of tomyam is a must.

Omelettes and some cockles. Love the dipping sauce.

There were four of us, I think we went nuts on ordering the dishes. Everything was perfect, a good way to have dinner after a long session of happy hours.

Heading back south to Haadyai we stopped here for lunch, nice restaurant next to some paddy fields. Very rustic kampong vibes. The food was so delicious that I totally forgot to take some pics of the surrounding views.

The restaurant was packed, maybe it went viral or for its ig pics. One of the good restaurants I had in this trip. Worth to check it out.

Tiew Son Beach Bar & Restaurant @ Khao Lak, Phang Nga, Thailand.

Reached our final destination for this trip which is Khao Lak in Phang Nga. First day dinner was at the hotel. Second day we went wondering around town and randomly chose this spot for dinner.

 

As usual we went mad and order loads of dishes. Food was good, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here.

Chill quiet town, just the way I like it. Hands down way better than the busy dazzling lights compared to Phuket.

Continuing our journey up north, we stopped by this cosy restaurant by the mouth of the river in Krabi. Weather was perfect.

We had a variety of local dishes, everything was delicious. 

What a scrumptious spread of lunch we had. Nice spot to bring your family for lunch, windy breeze next to a waterway leading to the sea.
