Aunty Aini's Garden Cafe @ Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.

If you fancy some negri sembilan food in a nice lush green setting, you should definitely check out this place. Food feels home cooked and blimey flavours pack a punch.

You can find all sorts of local stuff on the menu, I've tasted quite a bit, so far no complains. You have to try it to experience it. Good stuff. Place is packed, reservations are needed. Love it.

Restoran Nasi Kapau (Masakan Minang) @ Chow Kit, KL, Malaysia.

Nasi padang galore, found another hidden gem on Jalan TAR in KL. There's tonnes of dishes on display and to choose from including some exotics parts.

Standard fare would be ayam pop and the 2 sambals. Smashing! Some vege, tendon and stomach.

Some ulams, petais, beef rendang and crispy beef. Food is good, you'll probably have a second serving of white rice to mop up all the dishes.

Restoran Rose @ Kampung Baru, KL, Malaysia

Stomach was grumbling for a snack, did a quick stop in Kampung Baru for some satays.

This stall in the restaurant specialises in sate minang. Looks like your average satay except its done quite differently. Basically you order either beef, chicken or stomach, and you'll be given a small plate with 5 sticks of skewered meat on top of rice cakes, drenched in a thick gooey sauce, with crispy shallots on top.

Think I ordered beef and stomach. Still tastes good, and I find the satay sauce extremely addictive. Good stuff.
