Pak Din Ikan Bakar @ Tanglin Food Court, KL, Malaysia.

On a prowl for ikan bakar again we went to check out this famous stall in Tanglin food court.

It's a bit confusing here, first you gotta queue for your rice and dishes. Then you gotta go to the back of the shop to queue for your grilled fish.

Sotong bakar to share and below is the stingray. I had a mackerel but the picture was out of focus. One distinct difference with the ikan bakar served here, it's smothered in a soya based sauce with chopped onions. Absolutely addictive and the fish here is fresh.

Betel Leaf @ Leboh Ampang, KL, Malaysia.

For an upmarket good Indian cuisine this place will hit your spot.

The fried tenggiri fish and pakora was lovely. We ordered some other dishes as well. I tried the briyani on another occasion, absolutely stunning. This round we had the prata or roti canai, superb.

Food is definitely good, a bit on the high side. But you know you're getting a bang for your buck here.

Restoran Bunga Raya Indah @ Leboh Ampang, Kl, Malaysia.

If you are ever in Little India in KL, you have to check out this place for banana leaf rice. It's one of those old school canteen, you come in, seat in a row and enjoy your food. Definitely not a place if you wanna have conversations with your friends.

I know it look's like a piece of turd on the rice but if they have it, a must order crab curry. This thing will knock your socks off and you'll instantly start sweating.

I love their mutton varuval and if you can take goat spareparts/intestines get the kudal. Food here is good, prices are reasonable. Love this place!

Johnny Prawn Mee @ Restoran Wang Keng @ Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.

After hearing a lot of rave stuff about this har mein, had to go and check it out.

Lo and behold, just by looking at it, looks like the real deal. And the taste, damn! I think this is the best prawn noodle by far in this part of town. The broth has this rich umami taste of the prawns. Top notch stuff.

Asama Pecel Lele @ Kampung Pandan, KL, Malaysia.

Found a good hunting spot for lunch. It's located on the main road of Jalan Kampung Pandan. Big and airy space coupled with good food. Sweet.

We ordered a bunch of dishes ranging from keli/catfish, tempeh, chicken feet, some spare parts, fried chicken and fish.

Food is top notch here plus the sambal hits just the right spot. Lovely.

Puteri Cafe Ikan Bakar Banjir @ Off Jalan Kuching, KL, Malaysia.

I'm still on my ikan bakar craving hunts, haven't been back to this place in ages. I don't normally order ikan terubok, but this particular Saturday weekend, with nothing to do, I have all the time in the world to slowly enjoy this fish.

I'm not sure what's this fish called in English, but you can google it. Oh my sweet succulent juicy piece of fish. If only it ain't a bitch with all the small bones. Even the aunty saw me eating alone, reminded to eat this fish carefully. Guess she do not wanna see a diner choke on bones and having some ambulance buzzing by.

Was just a piece of whole fish, some sambal to soak it up and plain rice. Who can resist some petais. The food here is good as I remembered it the last time I was here. Good stuff.

Came here for dim sum and the food, is freaking good!

A must order is the bun and butter to start. Really opened up my appetite.

I think I enjoyed almost all the dishes. Lovely, another good place to haunt for dim sum brunches.
