Restoran Next Station @ PJ, Selangor, Malaysia.

Comes the weekend and I'm looking for new hunting ground for a good noodle place. Friend recommended me this place for tomato broth noodle soup.

Menu is pretty decent with a few choices. I went with mee sua tomato broth, and I love itttttttttt. Comes with fish balls(pretty excellent), I think was sliced abalone, egg and kampong chicken. Love the egg as it soaks up the broth. Kampong chicken was equally good. The soup, I reckon either you love it or u hate it. Reminds me of the HK tomato macaroni soup with a localised twist. Good stuff, a bit oily, but none the less good freaking stuff.

Came back the following weekend and ordered more dishes!

Beautiful, the extra dishes were perfect especially the big fishballs. Indeed a must order!

Fukuya Restaurant @ KL, Malaysia.

They have good value lunch set here. Bout 40+ rgt, you can choose two mains, come with a rice, miso soup and the usual appetiser dessert stuff.

The choices are quite a lot, I opted for salmon sashimi and grilled saba. Honestly, if your hunting for a jap lunch in the city, food is good and value for money, you should try here. Plus the venue has ample parking and privacy. Too bad I heard they're shifting, which I hope still retains its values.

Sup Haji Abu @ Jalan Doraisamy, KL, Malaysia.

This place is well known for its soup. Not for the faint hearted, they have the usual beef and mutton soup, but with extra special parts, ie Torpedo. I honestly haven't tried it. I normally order mixed soup minus that.

It's the same pot of soup, the meat are on the side. So when you order, then he'll mix it in. This round I ordered a beef tongue soup. The soup packs a punch, thick and yummy. Not too spicy but yet there's a certain kick to it. Pair it with the local bread(roti bengali) and you'll have a wholesome meal. If that is still not enough, they have nasi lemak packets on standby on the table.

Restoran Temerloh Catering @ Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.

I had this sudden craving for patin and tempoyak, I ended up in this branch in Seksyen 13 Shah Alam. Got here at 1045am, food wasn't ready. Not to worry I have ample time to kill, more like nope, I'm craving for it, I can wait. 1115 am, food is ready and the lady asked me which patin part would I like, opted for the body.

Took some rice, masak lemak egg, sambal tempoyak and damn I couldn't resist the pekasam(fermented fish). Had to take it.

The slice patin sangkar (farmed), hands down. I gotta give it to em, they do it pretty darn well here. I would have slurped the whole gravy down if I wasn't overdosed on the sambal tempoyak and pekasam. Oh the egg too! Am definitely coming back here for my patin tempoyak fix.

Aik Prawn Mee & Asam Laksa @ Sea Park, PJ, Selangor, Malaysia.

One of my personal favourites asam laksa is this joint in Sea Park, PJ. Actually it's more of a food truck located in front of the wet market.

The whole bowl is done just right. Nice fiery kick from the chilli padi, good portions of fish, loads of condiments, pungent prawn head paste and superb asam broth.

Banana Leaf Rice @ Yap Kee Coffee Shop, Klang, Selangor, Malaysia.

Here I was near Klang KTM train station checking out this old school place. Menu is simple with a few dishes on offering.

As usual, you have to order the fried stuff. The fried chicken and tenggiri slice fish was super awesome. The mutton curry was ok, nothin to shout about. Curry was decent. A good place for a banana leaf rice if you're in this part of town. Must order the fried chicken!

Restaurant KebabG @ KL, Malaysia.

Finally had my kebab fix in KL. This place is smacked in City Centre.

With no time wasted I ordered an arabic meat double. This is good stuff, they do their bread in house. Meat was good although I could use more sauce. I'm still craving for a good doner kebab, the London version.
