Restoran Ferozpur Curry House @ KKB, Selangor, Malaysia.

We came here for some breakfast in Kuala Kubu Baru, ordered some vadai, teh tarik susu lembu and thosai.

Love the thosai, food is good. Even the teh tarik didn't disappoint me. Would come back and check out the lunch spread.

Yarl Restaurant @ Brickfields, KL, Malaysia.

Fancy some Sri Lankan fare? Check out Yarl Restaurant at Brickfields. This post came from two breakfast sessions and one lunch. I find myself enjoying both breakfast and lunch here. Superb.

My mate had the stringhoppers, I went for the vadai and thosai.

Yup the thosai hits the spot, pair it with the chutney. Now if you're sweet tooth, make sure order the sweet appom.

That roll is very addictive, think they have chicken, mutton and vege roll. Below is the lunch session, I came back with another 3 pax to make sure can sample more of the dishes.

Damn, what a solid lunch and food coma afterwards. Love it. Oh, don't forget to order their hot coffee or tea to end the meal. Nice.

Kedai Makan Selvaa @ Klang, Selangor, Malaysia.

Off I went to Klang for some South Indian breakfast.

Had some vadais and ghee thosai. The food looks unassuming but I can assure you, it taste damn good. A testament would be by the dozens of people flocking this place for breakfast..

Awesome breakfast if you're in this part of town.

MTR 1924 @ Brickfields, KL, Malaysia.

They had one MTR in KL? Dang how did I missed it. Only realised when I was reading the papers they have opened one for quite some time in Brickfields.

Curd vadai with I think some lentil crackers on top. Absolute pure delight this dish. Gotta order this for starters, definitely open up my appetite.

We ordered a few version of thosai, everything was superb. Best part, they gave a small liquid ghee for you to pour or eat with it. The sambar/pairing sauce was awesome too.

It was so good that I came back the following week to wack some thosai again. This round my friend ordered the mini tiffin carrier set. I have to admit, it's a bit pricey here but heck for some killer thosai or vada, this is the place to have it.

Restoran Sri Paandi @ Jalan Gasing, PJ, Selangor, Malaysia.

Went check out Sri Paandi at Jalan Gasing there for breakfast. Honestly I'm not sure how this one is related to the other Sri Paandi near University Hospital.

Ordered a ghee onion thosai and bru kopi with fresh cows milk. The chutney is the star here and it's super awesome.

Coffee was superb, just nice to clean out your palate after a scrumptious meal.

The fried stuff was alright, as some came out slightly burnt. Other than that was a very good breakfast.

Springleaf Prata Place @ Siglap, Singapore.

Another good contender for prata in Singapore, and why may you ask, I've been back here like 4-5 times in two months. Also there's a few factors that contribute why I frequent here, ease of parking, should be able to get a table easily and the bottom line, the food is good.

My first time here, I had a craving for thosai. Ordered a ghee onion thosai and it was done very nicely. Good stuff.

Second time here, ordered a normal prata and egg prata. Personal preference, I prefer the plain prata, it reminds me of the prata I used to eat growing up. Don't get me wrong, the egg prata was good, but it was leaning more towards a murtabak.

Third round when I was here, we ordered a medium size mutton murtabak. Boy was it huge, and it feed nicely for the both of us. Another awesome dish to order, not stingy on the ingredients. The other nice/sinful dish to order is the Umami 50 murtabak. I was raving so much about this place in the office, that a colleague of mine tapaued that murtabak back to the office, sublime!

MTR 1924 Vegetarian Restaurant @ Serangoon Road, Singapore.

Now this place a friend of mine recommended to me, did my usual breakfast weekend fix and boy was he right.

A masala dosa. This is one of the meanest good piece version of dosa I've come across after some time. The hefty price justifies it. Good awesome stuff. The potatoes stuffed inside lasted me way after lunch.

A filter coffee, not bad.

Heaven's Indian Curry @ Ghim Moh Market and Food Centre, Singapore.

Usual weekend breakfast, was craving for thosai again. Decided to check this particular stall out in Ghim Moh market. I kinda like this food centre, all sorts of foods and people.

This stall had a queue, luckily for me, it wasn't long before I placed my order.

Ghee onion thosai, with a piece of vadai on the side. Beautifully done, another place I have found to serve a killer thosai, and the best part? The curry was good too.

Kamala Restaurant @ Tekka Market, Singapore.

Sunday morning breakfast, and i'm craving for some good old fashioned thosai. Did some quick search online, haven't been to this place, decided to check it out.

Mutton masala, it look's a bit funky, but it taste damn fine. Not a bad masala, reminds me of my childhood memories.

Now this masterpiece is called ghee onion thosai, check the ghee oozing on the plate.

Add some dhall, some orange coloured gravy, heaven on earth. Mix it up further with some fish curry, this thosai is the bomb. Now I came here and ordered two pieces of thosai, the greedy side got better of me, as i couldn't even finish one piece, it was that huge! Top if off with ginger milk tea, it was a good breakfast indeed.
