So here I was doing a beer run to the 7e as usual to stock up in the hotel room and I saw this stall. Ordered a pad see ew tapau/take away. And guess what? I had food from here everyday on this trip to Bangkok lol. Mostly tapau but I made it a point the last day of flying out to eat here.

This was the pad kra pao chicken, the pad see ew was smashing as well. The portion maybe small to some but for the price you pay and in Bangkok? Worth every penny in my books. I try to support local every time I get. Keep up the great food!

Hangover and needed something soupy, was craving for some beef noodles. Luckily this stall was on grab, so I ordered it to the hotel. It may look bland but trust me, even after delivery, food was served piping hot and the bowl was absolute delight.

If you're ordering via grab, make sure tick for cutlery. It comes with the bowl! How thoughtful. Anyway this is one good bowl of beef noodles. Next round will go check it out at the restaurant.

I remembered I bookmarked this place and decided to check it out since it's only one train station away from where I stayed. Got there nearly 2pm and place was pretty empty. Service was fast.

I went for the Tenko Mori bowl. Voila check that bowl out. Thick cuts of fish and generous portions.

Definitely a lavish meal, loved it!

Nasi Lemak Ikan Sembilang, Lenggeng @ Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.

Been back here twice for breakfast in recent weeks, first time was on a Monday, very chilled relax zen vibe. Second round was on a Sunday, mad house, packed with people. Anyway if you're looking for a mean nasi lemak with an array of kampong dishes, this is a spot worth checking out.

Loads of dishes to choose from, am sure everyone will have their favourites here. Best part all the dishes are covered. We sat outside patio at the back, this was the view behind the restaurant. Very the zen.

My mate went full on nasi lemak campur on his plate and another mate looks more proper on his nasi lemak plate. Took some paru and more sambal for sharing.

I just love this small nasi lemak packets, reminds me of the old school days. I took one with ikan sembilang and the other ikan bilis. So second round here for brekkie, this dude went full on berserk mode on his plate, two ikan sembilang, one fried drumstick, one fried egg, some spare parts and sambal.

Lol what an eater!

Was feeling for something soupy, did some googling nearby area and found this spot. Oh my, they even have beef rawon. I went straight for that!

Menu is pretty simple, they have chicken, fish, prawns, duck and beef. 

My beef rawon with white rice. Soup was delightful, squeeze in the lime, add a bit of sambal to spice it up. Damn, definitely hits the spot for me. Good stuff!

Time for supper and off I went to tapau from this place for a jumbo hotdog. The portion is quite huge actually, JUMBO! Do not fret if the place is empty when you get in, seriously the hotdogs here are worth checking out.

I went for the NY style hotdog, fecking hell can feed two people. The hotdog itself hits the spot, very nice flavour to it. Given with the condiments, this is a one mean dog. Absolutely smacking, a perfect meal to end the night!

This round in Bali I went and stayed at Batu Belig area. Quiet and peaceful. A bit rejuvenating actually. Bali Boozy was recommended by the hotel staff, it's nearby and I kept coming back for the good food and top notch service.

First round here for lunch I had the mee goreng, decent portion enough to sustain throughout the day. Also don't  forget to get the sambal tempong, killer sambal. Mix it in with a bit of the kecap manis to tone down the heat.

Second lunch I had the nasi goreng, still good as the mee goreng, but this was more filling, I had to take away half of it.

Heh, I actually tapaued twice dinner here and both times I ordered the margarita pizza, oh mannnnn they do a mean pizza here. Freaking loved it, I didn't take any pics but trust me on this, you gotta try their pizzas here. Superb!

It's been ages since I've been back here at this food court. First time trying this stall and I did a take away.

Check that out, the egg yolk was still runny when I got home. Nice dollop of chilli padi on the side.

This is a commendable ckt, decent wok hei, portions were good and love the egg. How come I've never had this before. Worth checking out if you're in the area and looking for a good ckt.

Decided to check out this place for lunch, nasi dalca bawang below Tulip Residence in Denai Alam. Place is still new I reckon, restaurant is spacious and comfy. A selection of dishes to choose from to pair with your nasi dalca.

My mate went for beef and fried chicken where as I went for the beef. Portions were huge, definitely value for money. Make sure to get the bawang goreng, very addictive. Food is tasty, feels like home cooked to me. Oh yes, wash it all down with a glass of teh tarik. Haven't had this good teh tarik for quite some time!

For dinner we went across to Plaza Arcadia Senayan for a western treat. Tomahawk steak and some red wine at VIN+ Arcadia. There were 6 of us, a portion of tomahawk and some sides were just nice to feed us.

The sides were good, a good variety for everyone to choose from. Steak was marvelous. Nice intimate restaurant and the servers were friendly too.

For lunch we went out this Thai restaurant in Plaza Senayan called Chandara Fine Thai Cuisine. Restaurant was comfy, the setting was nice. It doesn't feel rush or packed like on the outside, very nice zen to it.

We ordered a bunch of stuff, grilled squids on top, a steam fish done Thai style. Some veges.

Some shrimp(or was it crab) cake and a tomyam.

Of course somtam must be there. The food was surprisingly good, every dish was spot on. Worth checking out if you're craving for some Thai food in Jakarta.

Alright time for another lunch feast and this time we went and check out this corner coffee shop in Seksyen 17. More like to check out the sang har mein.

Ordered some fish noodles and steamed chicken to share. Good stuff!

We opted for smaller prawns instead of the big river prawns. Also ordered a beef hor fun. Pretty damn good if you ask me. Wok hei is there, portions were good. Definitely food coma after this feast.
