LUMU Beerhouse & Filipino Kitchen @ Manila, Philippines.

Came here for lunch and came back the next day for dinner. Was so impressed with the food. Lunch was to cure my hangover, found out the food was so good, came back for dinner next day.

We ordered the usuals, some sisigs, adobo and bistek tagalog. Garlic fried rice was a favourite.

I reckon my favourite would be the bistek tagalong, beef strips cooked in soy sauce, calamansi and onions. Drench the garlic fried rice in the gravy, ahhhh superb.

The sisigs here are done nicely, goes damn well with beers. Food here is indeed good. I love it.

Manam Comfort Filipino @ Manila, Philippines.

Fresh from a hangover, needed to load back on some nutrients. Did a quick google search and we decided to check out this place at Greenbelt 2.

The beef dish ah damn it, I can't recall. Total comfort food, garlic rice, fried egg with runny yolk, gosh knows what's that vege and awesome beef goodness. Superb.

The pancit/noodles was not bad, but maybe after the beef and adobo dish, the broth was a bit salty for me. Yup below is the lamb adobo and garlic rice, I ordered the smallest portion, hence 3 pieces. Oh man the lamb adobo was good, tender and with nice fatty bits. The gravy was addictive, I keep pairing it with the garlic rice.

By the time the corned beef sisig came out, I was pretty much done and needed my bed again. Had one two bites out of it, yummy! I had to take away this dish with some leftover garlic rice, not gonna waste one bit of it. Food is indeed good.

Soon Kee Seafood Noodle @ Cheras, KL, Malaysia.

If you're looking for a seafood noodle joint, this would be your best bet.

I ordered the whole lot, everything mixed in. From prawns, lala, oysters, slice fish, fishballs. We ordered some tofu and fish cake for starters.

Dry ramen with a dollop of chilli. The noodles were nice and springy, the chilli was a killer. Soup was clear and had a nice depth to it. The seafood ingredients were fresh, especially the oysters. Parking here can be a bitch but it's well worth it.

Little Eat Stall @ Pudu, KL, Malaysia.

Alright, about time I got myself here. This stall rotates the menu every different day, so choose your day carefully. It'll either be the fish head noodle soup, Ipoh hor fun, lam mee, pork noodle or porridge. Yeah and I came here twice in a week to try the Ipoh hor fun and fish noodle.

The Ipoh hor fun is good, tender succulent juicy chicken. Soup was good as well plus with the smooth koew teow. I slurped down the whole bowl. I made a mistake though, totally forgot to order the taugeh dish.

Yup I byo a bottle of chinese wine to go with the slice fish soup noodle. The fish paste was sold out, and this was about 1215pm ya. The waiting time for the fish soup compared to the days when they serve the hor fun, sigh. Think hor fun took like 15 mins for the dish to be served to me. This one took about 45 mins. Anyway back to the fish story, boy is it damn good. I guess that's why a lot of people come here in droves for it. It is damn good.

Melawis Char Koew Teow @ Klang, Selangor, Malaysia.

I was running some errands in Klang, contacted some friends for breakfast. Got kidnapped afterwards to join their errands to do some charity work. Consolation they brought me here for late lunch.

And this is one of the famous ckt in Klang Valley. Yups the hyped is all good, ckt is good. I'm a sucker for a black ckt and they do it slightly wet here. Just right up my palate.

If you're one of those that like the black ckt soya sauce based, this is a best bet if you're in Klang.
