Restoran Sungai Janggut Seafood @ Jeram, Selangor, Malaysia.

This was an unexpected fine, we were on a toddy hunt and some curries. Another friend came along and suggested we check out this place for seafood.

Lala bee hoon, absolutely superb. Just the way I like my bee hoon done, dark. Tonnes of lala and nice wok hei.

Two types of mantis prawn, kung po style and  thai salad. Both were equally executed well, can't stop munching on this little suckers.

Salted egg yolk squid was another must order dish. Pairs well with beer and toddy.

Another personal favourite would be the baby octopus.

The oysters is a must order as well, fresh and succulent. All in all, was a good meal indeed. It's little hideout gems like this make me more than happy to search for more good food.

Gabtron @ Selayang, KL, Malaysia.

Came here for lunch the other day, had to call and pre order as they close around 1ish pm.

Check out the greens!!!

I think this is the real deal if your looking for Klang style bkt in KL. The broth is thick and superb, just the way I like it, strong on the herbal side.

Ippudo Pavilion @ KL, Malaysia.

Haven't had a ramen for a long time. Decided to check out Ippudo at Pavilion.

They have a set lunch, so the top pic was the appetiser.

Suffice to say it did cure my ravings for a ramen, it's good but I still find the Singapore branch does it better. I wonder how it taste like in Japan. One of my bucket list!

Restoran Dapur Sarawak @ KL, Malaysia.

Came here for the Sarawak Laksa and I think I've found a few other good dishes.

Menu is well laid out.

The three layer milk tea was divine.

Nasi goreng dabai, friend ordered it to share. First time having it, comes with a cut of deep fried crispy ikan terubok. Lovely.

Surprisingly the mee kolok was the star of the show. Looks simple, pair it with the black sambal soya sauce. Absolutely smashing. If it's too dry, just add some of the soup that came with it to loosen the noodles.

Don't get me wrong the laksa here is good, but somehow maybe I was craving for some dry noodles this particular day. Be it rice or noodles, dry or soup I think I'll find myself frequenting here quite often.

Kedai Kopi Hai Peng @ Chukai, Kemaman, Terengganu, Malaysia.

Haven't been back here in ages for breakfast. An old friend introduced me to this place last time. How time flies.

Wide array of breakfast options ranging from pre-packed rice, noodles, kueh and desserts.

Nasi dagang with ikan tongkol(local tuna) is a personal favourite. Luckily the pack was small so I can wack my toasted bread and half boil eggs.

The coffee here is a must order. Hard to get this type of old school kopitiam kopi this days. Strong brewed it hits the spot.

The toasted bread was good but I think the toasted bun was way better.

Half boil eggs, can't go wrong. The food here is good, love the variety. As I'm writing this, am sipping a coffee which I bought the coffee powder from them.

Blue Cow Cafe @ Plaza Damas, KL, Malaysia.

One of my personal favourite joints for brunch. Place is quiet, serves good food, and awesome view of the King's Palace if your seated at the back.

Went for the sausages scrambled eggs toast bread and salad. There's a few types of sausages to choose from. Breakfast is served all day, perfect place to have a bloody mary and some greasy food to ease the hangover.

Char Koew Teow @ Restoran Shangri-La @ Damansara Heights, KL, Malaysia.

Woke up with a massive headache on a weekend, needed some greasy stuff to soak it all up. What better way then having a good plate of ckt. So off I went to this atas kopi tiam in Damansara Heights.

The plate was good and I find myself enjoying it very much. Best part a good place to people watch. Oh and the coffee here is good too.

Lala Bee Hoon @ Restoran Lai Foong, KL, Malaysia.

Back in Lai Foong coffee shop and this round I went to check out the lala bee hoon.

Portions were decent sized, definitely would fill you up for lunch.

Oh my, the soup is super delicious, nice sweet broth and I think they added some chinese wine in it. The lala was fresh and loads of it. Superb.

Chee Cheong Fun @ Petaling Street, KL, Malaysia.

Was still a bit dark when I got here for breakfast. I'm not sure what's the shop name, all I know opposite Hong Leong Bank and next to Hon Kee porridge(another well known institution here).

The ccf is good, come to think of it I might grab one for breakfast tomorrow.
