Sarawak Delicacies @ Tin Ha Kopitiam, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.

A friend was raving about this stall selling Laksa Sarawak. The kopi tiam is fairly new but it has a decent amount of stalls.

Quite a few noodle dishes from the Sarawak delicacies stall. Ordered the Sarawak laksa and yups it definitely hits the spot. Broth was thick and packs an umami. Sambal was good, portions were freaking good. Lovely, I so was impressed with it I came back here few more times to try the other dishes.

Had the mee pok second round I was here, was good but I reckon dry would have tasted way better, which lead me to my third round, the Kolo mee dry below. Awesome stuff. Auntie was friendly, serves good food and they're not shy with the portions, nice!

Bonus, the stall next door serves good foo chuk and  Lam mee.

Man Cheng Xiang Restaurant @ Klang, Selangor, Malaysia.

Brunch is something I always look forward to and this round friend brought me to this bkt joint in Bandar Baru Klang.

Portions were decent and they have fried shallots, uhmm yummy. Service is fast and friendly. Bottom point food is good, can't ask for more.

Fushou Lou Curry Mee @ Kedai Makan USJ2, Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

Friend was raving about this stall which serves curry mee with some some extra not the usual stuff ingredients. As usual me being the first time here, I ordered the whole works with bee hoon and yellow noodles. Blimey 22 ringgit!

Well, the price is a bit steep, but you can just order what ingredients you want. Anyway the bowl came with a chunk of stingray, fried fishballs(nice!), cuttlefish, tofu and lala. Now this is the weird part, it taste like curry but at the same time it's not. Honestly I think it's like a cross breed of asam laksa and curry. But whatever it is, definitely good stuff till I slurped down the whole bowl.

Restoran Sri Karak @ PJ, Selangor, Malaysia.

I had a good lunch the other day, first time at this place, recommended by a friend.

Some tasty prawn omelette above with vegetable soup below. Soup was good, came with a bit of century eggs and anchovies.

Sambal sotong was another delight. The taugeh below was awesome, crunchy.

But of course the star of the meal was the steamed patin in soya sauce. First time trying the patin cooked in this style, normally I'll have it masak tempoyak. Superb.

Top 1 Chicken Rice Klang @ Klang, Selangor, Malaysia.

I think I've found a personal favourite spot in Klang for chicken rice. Service is very good, friendly, chicken rice tasted old school and tasty.

They serve both styles of chicken which is roasted or steamed. I personally favour more towards the steamed chicken, love the skin. The sambal chilli had a nice zing to it. Can't complain here, the chicken rice is good.

On a bonus note, the original char koew teow from Jalan Batai, Damansara Heights relocated to this same row of hawkers here. Friend ordered and tapaued to our table, I wonder was it the daughter or the uncle that fried the ckt, hmmm.

Restoran Ceria @ Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.

On a nasi lemak hunt and this round we checked out this restaurant in Seksyen 3 Shah Alam. This unassuming place is buzzing with loads of people.

Ordered the standard nasi lemak with some sotong on the side. Am happy with the healthy dollop of sambal. The sotong was done very good. Not stingy with their peanuts and anchovies too. No wonder a lot of people flock here for their nasi lemak. Good stuff.

Ordered a roti boom to share, quite good actually. We saw a lot of people ordered the fried chicken, had to get that as well. Yup the fried chicken definitely is a must order, crunchy batter on the outside. Lovely.
