Another round of asam pedas in Muar and came to Asam Pedas JJ. They have more stuff on the menu ie nasi campur too.

I gotta say this is worth checking it out. Asam pedas was top notch, pair it with some telur ikan and telur sotong, beautiful.

I have personally been coming back here every chance I get when I'm in Betong. The food is genuine and superb. Plus the Kakak here is very friendly and polite. This post was taken over a few trips when I was there.

I had the spareparts beef soup and chicken basil rice. I always wanted to try the daging masak merah but keep forgetting it.

Food was indeed good and what a nice meal to wrap up this trip. I'll definitely be back to explore more food in Indonesia!

Halfway pit stop, they brought us here to enjoy the view and have a nice local coffee. A definite place must check out if you're ever in this part of town.

Coffee is good and the view is a killer. Add it the cooling climate. Yeaps, glad we came here.

We came here for dinner and boy what an awesome meal it was.

It was just a simple crab with white rice. The crab had an explosive flavour, they do it very well here. First time trying this type of cooking, I'm stoked!
