Alright down the road from Thong Lo off we went driving to hunt down this Khao Soi place. It's been on my map for quite some time and finally managed to tick it off from my list. 

My mate had the rice noodles and I went for the Khao Soi.  Both was equally good if you ask me. Worth checking out this joint.

Mae Varee Mango Sticky Rice @ Bangkok, Thailand.

After the oyster omelette, I had to tapau the famous mango sticky rice from Mae Varee. The process is simple, just queue, pay, takeaway. A quick in out.

Portions were good, enough for two persons. Oh my, this is superb. A must do if you're in Thong Lor area.

Time to check out the orh luak at this famous joint in Thong Lor.

Oh my, beautifully done, nice crispy edges with some gooey stuff in the middle. Not shy with their oysters too. I really enjoyed the oyster omellete here. Worth the walk here from the hotel. Good stuff!

Another good gem to tapau for lunch in cbd. Check out Nice Rice at Telok Ayer. 

Went for the cow bowl. Nicely done beef with onsen egg. I really like the garlic touch, super nice. I also tried the bird bowl, equally good.

Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang - Lau Pa Sat @ Singapore

Tapaued nasi lemak from this stall for lunch and boy was it scrumptious. 

Comes with a fried chicken with a fiery sambal. This is one mean nasi lemak. I was blown away. Good stuff. Food coma after that.

Keep finding this hidden gems in Toa Payoh. This round went and check out this fish soup noodle place at Lor 4 Toa Payoh.

Ordered the batang fish soup with thick bee hoon. Nice!
