Alright time to check out bun bo hue in Da Nang. Did some google research, we went to check out this place Bún Bò Mệ Mui.

Looks like a normal pho to me, with some slight spicy colour. I'm more accustomed to the more tingy red broth. Anyway jokes aside, this was a satisfying meal. Definitely cured my hangover.

As usual I'll normally recce around the hotel to see if there's any food to try and this one caught my eye.

I came in to try the banh mi and coffee, but after checking out the menu I opted for the Bo Kho (braised beef with bread).

Coffee was super oommppph, definitely a healthy dosage of caffeine to wake you up. The braised beef? OMG this was a super find, excellent not too thick, not too watery. This is my kind of beef stew. Pair it with the baguette. Yummy!

Time to check out some fish ball noodles in Da Nang, it's called bun cha ca. Menu was in English as well. I ordered the trio mix, fish ball noodles, prawn balls and prawn paste.

Oh what a glorious find, soup was addictive. Add in some sambal this bowl packs a punch. Don't think so I ever had this kinda soup broth before. Aweome.

Worth checking out this place.

Esco Beach Bar Lounge & Restaurant @ Da Nang, Vietnam.

Had a quiet lunch by My Khe Beach in a place called Esco Beach Bar. Weather was super fine and view was superb. They have western and local food as well.

I went for their Mi Quang, sort of dry noodles with beef (you can choose other toppings as well). Plenty of greens and vegetables to add on. Nice, portions were huge and taste wise splendid. Do try their local craft beers!

Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice @ Maxwell Food Centre, Singapore.

First time I had this chicken rice was iconic, this was probably twenty years ago. Back then the queue wasn't that horrendous, now pfffttttt. Anyway was in the neighbourhood and decided to tapau. 

Ordered a portion of taugehs with sliced cuttlefish and poached chicken rice with some spareparts. I think I overdid it, the portion was good for two people. 

Drown it with some dark soya sauce and chilli, this is one good pack of Hainanese chicken rice. I know a lot of people has told me the standard dropped but I think it's still there. Or maybe I'm still sentimental with this stall, still loving it!

Restoran Do Do Do @ Tangkak, Johor, Malaysia.

Tangkak beef noodles? Then check out this restaurant called Do Do Do. This would normally be my pit stop if I have some time to spare. Normally I'll tapau, but this round had some time to kill and ate it at the shop. As usual you'll have the option of dry or soup beef noodles, the claypot version is worth checking out too if you're in a group.

Ah lovely dry mix beef noodles, absolutely delicious. The chilli knocks a punch too. Just beautiful.

First time coming into this side of town and boy was I in on a treat. Definitely worth the effort as it was a scrumptious feast.

A must order is the fishballs. We ordered two kinds of fish, both were top notch.

Udang galah was huge and worth every penny.

The food is super good, I enjoyed all the dishes here. Not one fault can I find in any of the dishes.
