Yeo Keng Nam Traditional Hainanese Chicken Rice @ Braddell Road, Singapore.

I found this place nearly by chance as I was seeking shelter from a heavy downpour. Guess luck was on my side as I had a good plate of chicken rice here.

Pretty long list on the menu, I ordered a roasted chicken thigh with rice.

The chicken had some nice bits of fats in it, skin was juicy. I think one of the better roasted chicken rice I had lately. The chilli sauce had a nice zing to it as well.

Quite lucky to find this hidden gem.

Meng Chai Seafood Sdn Bhd @ Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia.

Came here for a light dinner and realised I should have bring more people! The food is good, too bad I only had two dishes.

Some beers with ice, kopi tiam style!

The house sambal was superb, definitely a winner.

Cockles in umai style, and this suckers are huge. The shells were slightly smaller than my palm size. The umai with the blanched cockles is seriously addictive. Devoured the whole plate.

Deep fried cod fish. damn. Looks simple but taste awesome. Lightly battered, the fish was super fresh, meat was flaky and the skin was crispy. Next round I'm back here, definitely gonna bring more people and try out their other dishes. Yummy.

28 Food Centre @ Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia.

There's a few recommendations for laksa sarawak in Miri, but I decided to check this joint as it was nearby the hotel.

Ain't that a beauty, generous portions of prawns and shredded egg omelettes.

Oh there's some fishballs as well. The broth was not overwhelming, just nice. Add the sambal, has a nice kick to it.

Madli's Restaurant @ Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia.

Looking for mee kolok and this restaurant looks promising as it was packed during dinner time.

The teh ais was extremely addictive. Good stuff.

The mee kolok looked like a maggi goreng to me with the addition of beef cuts. Surprisingly it hits the right spot. I'm not a pro when it comes to mee kolok, but this one is good.

Mizzy Corner Nasi Lemak @ Changi Village, Singapore.

Back in Changi Village for breakfast, and this round am testing a nasi lemak joint.

Queue wasn't bad. Menu quite extensive.

Went for the Set B, fillet, egg plus ikan bilis. For 3.50SGD, quite a good value for money. The portion was generous, ikan bilis was done well, sambal was good, although I could use a bit more spicy.

MEATliquor Singapore @ Duxton Road, Singapore.

Came here for lunch and their set is quite affordable.

Any burger + 1 side for 15 sgd nett, not bad huh.

The burgers were awesome, I had the dead hippie. It gets messy a bit with some juices, sauces dripping, but  I don't mind, yummy. The sides are pretty normal, but hey I came here for the burgers.

The Butchers Club @ Clarke Quay, Singapore.

Weekend brunch we went check out this place and thank god Clarke Quay wasn't packed.

They've got a few selection of burgers on the menu, I went for the standard burger and some duck fat fries.

Some beers always taste good with burgers.

The  burger looks small, but it's pretty packed with ingredients. Surprisingly I was full from it. One of the nicer burgers I had in Singapore. Good stuff.
