Wen Dao Shi (126) Dim Sum @ Sims Avenue, Singapore.

Back here again for dim sum, lovely.

Think was chicken feet, the sauce was delicious.

Paper wrapped chicken on the right. Awesome.

One of my colleagues mentioned to me to order this white pepper crab bee hoon next time I was here. Gosh I did, and what a good recommendation it was. I had fun slurping the bee hoon and the gravy. A must order if your here.

The usual dim sum, I like it. Satisfied my cravings. Plus it's Geylang, kinda ghetto!

Hameed Pata Special Mee Sotong @ Esplanade Park, Penang, Malaysia.

Last round I was in Penang, didn't manage to check out this place. This round die die I walked all the way from hotel to get to this place. Not far but still under the scorching heat I was drenched. Lo and behold worth the walk.

One thing I loved about Malaysia, some places though, you order and you go wait at your table and the food will be delivered.

Took me about 15-20 minutes before this marvelous mee goreng and the umami sotong to be served.
Totally worth the walk. The mee goreng is your normal mee goreng mamak with a slight better taste to it. The sotong in its umami flavouring, arghhh to die for. Mix everything up, plain freaking heaven. It was so good till I ain't ubering, gonna walk back to the hotel to wash this sin out.

And of course if you come here, gotta try the coconut milkshake. Good, nuff said.

Char Koew Teow @ Kedai Kopi Sin Guat Keong, Penang, Malaysia.

As I was staying at Kimberley area, first time actually, did some googling. Wah there's a street food just a walk from my hotel. Nice! So off I went hunting for this ckt cart which is situated in front of Kedai Kopi Sin Guat Keong.

You can't miss it. Was tempted to try the asam laksa from another stall but better don't be a glutton.

The uncle diligently cooking the ckt on a charcoal fire. The aunty picking up the order was also nice and friendly.

Ordered a ckt standard plate top up with mantis prawn. The koew teow definitely had a bit of wok hei. It's a good plate, but I think based on the online reviews, I had higher hopes. Don't get me wrong, still a decent plate of ckt if you're in the area.

Union Street Kareem Pasembur @ Penang, Malaysia.

Just arrived at airport, friend picked me up and off we went to this pasembur place. Pasembur is basically an indian rojak drenched in a yummy sauce. My first time coming to this stall.

It says open from 11am to 7pm, by the time we got here was slightly after 5pm, almost all of the ingredients was gone. Luckily there was a bit of sotong left. The ingredients ranges from potato, egg, tofu, prawn fritters, fishballs etc. It's similar like a ytf but indian style. The sotong was superb, the gravy? Even more addictive. A good bowl of pasembur.

Saveur Thai @ Kaki Bukit, Singapore.

Was in the area running errands and so happen there was a Thai makan place.

Prices look pretty decent. Ordered a seafood tomyam soup with white rice.

Soup was good, pretty spicy, portion was generous. I actually slurped the whole soup till the last drop. Yummy. The thai ice milk tea nicely balanced out my burning toungue.

I actually enjoyed eating here, came back few days later to try the chicken basil on rice. No complains, equally good. I wonder how their boat noodle taste like, hmmmm........

Swee Choon Dim Sum Restaurant @ Jalan Besar, Singapore.

Finallyyy I got myself here after some drinking session for supper. The problem with dim sum, you wanna try everything. It doesn't help when you have a few people post happy hour sessions and go nuts ordering.

Yes yes the picture menu helps us ordering everything:)

The cold chicken was a good appetiser to start building up the appetite.

Fried foo chuk is definitely a must order for something greasy.

The ccf for me was a killer. Although slightly thick it was still yummy. Crispy fish skin was the other addictive dish.

The hor fun oh my, wah tah hor had a slight hint of wok hei in it. Just see the nice layer of egg in it would drool you.

Their star item here is the fried mee sua. I like it but when I had the carrot cake below, by all means thumbs up for the carrot cake.

Food galore, or don let the drunkards order food. There was hit and misses with some dishes but overall I'll definitely be back here. The food is good and now that I sampled some of the dishes, I know which one to be left out. That's my personal choice though, by all means do try all the dishes!

Katong Laksa @ Changi Road, Singapore.

First time coming here, friend brought me here for breakfast as I had a sudden craving for laksa. It's situated in a coffee shop at the corner of Telok Kurau Road and Changi Road.

Ordered a laksa with extra cockles. This is definitely one superb bowl of laksa, not too jelak as I normally kena 3/4 way of eating a bowl. I think I've found another favourite for laksa, as the other one being Janggut.

Bonus there's a stall here selling carrot cake, seems quite famous also and super delicious. A must order for sharing!
