yesss, theres only a handful of places that serves asam laksa in singapore, i've been through a few, and imho this is the best. first off the gravy looks weird, but the taste is there. might be the generous amount of fish they put in, hence the gravy is thick compared to the usual watery/slightly clear broth.
this is the closest as you can get in singapore, although some might beg to differ. My benchmark would be ayer itam laksa market in penang itself. although i was only introduced to that stall few years back, that one came out tops.
This shop serves other sze char dishes as well, good recommendations from what ive read, but yet to try, will definitely check it out next time with a bunch of people. Oh, do check out the Prince fried bee hoon, its a killer!
