I just love cantonese style porridge, thick and gooey. A colleague of mine did mention to me there's one in Tiong Bahru.
Ordered a slice fish porridge, with on the side slices of raw fish(yu sheng) and century eggs. I have to say, prices are a bit steep, but you pay for comfort and easy parking. Not to mention, it's easy to get tables ( or was it just a weekday dinner). The raw fish was good, porridge was thick and gooey, just as I like it. One of those comfort food that I don't mind coming back.
