If there's one food that I don't mind eating everyday, is beef noodles or pho (Vietnamese beef noodle soup). This restaurant a bit upmarket, for the prices you pay, but you'll get a decent bowl.

This outlet at suntec is bigger and more comfortable. Ok this pic was taken before the lunch hour crowd, 11ish am. I did a takeaway.

Pho beef combination, you name it, it's in there, except the cow brains though, aha. The broth is decent, i love the beef balls, somehow this is the star, tendon was good, slices of beef was good, the tripe was ok. Excellent fast service.

Sunday morning breakfast, and i'm craving for some good old fashioned thosai. Did some quick search online, haven't been to this place, decided to check it out.

Mutton masala, it look's a bit funky, but it taste damn fine. Not a bad masala, reminds me of my childhood memories.

Now this masterpiece is called ghee onion thosai, check the ghee oozing on the plate.

Add some dhall, some orange coloured gravy, heaven on earth. Mix it up further with some fish curry, this thosai is the bomb. Now I came here and ordered two pieces of thosai, the greedy side got better of me, as i couldn't even finish one piece, it was that huge! Top if off with ginger milk tea, it was a good breakfast indeed.

The Fishball Story @ Golden Mile Hawker Centre, Singapore.

As always around 930-10am at work, some of us will be scratching the heads what's for lunch. Then a colleague of mine showed a link , mee pok fish ball for lunch? And bam I was at Golden Mile doing the takeaways.

Thank god I arrived here shortly before 11am, beat the queue.

How does it taste? Freaking good. Fishball was bouncy, my favourite was the sliced fish cake, it's different but yet tasty. The sambal was delicious and lard was crunchy. This is going to be one of my favourite stalls for fishball noodles.

Bangkok Jam @ Raffles City, Singapore.

Craving for Thai food and chance upon Bangkok Jam in Raffles City. Wanted to have the usual tomyam soup with rice, till I saw they have beef noodle soup!

Nice presentation, portions are generous, love the silky koew teow, broth was good, but the meat is alright.

Soto Ayam @ Raimah Eating House, Singapore.

Last time I was around here I had a roti john, this round for a quick bite opted for the soto ayam instead with lontong(steamed rice cake).

A beautiful broth, with shredded chicken pieces, and beansprouts, begedil (potato cutlet) with lontong below. The killer is the black chilli sauce, added a nice zing to the soup. Cheap fast quick bite, lovely.

Sin Swee Kee Restaurant @ Seah Street, Singapore.

This two streets has eluded me so far, Purvis Street and Seah Street, parallel to each other. There's a bunch of restaurants and eateries here, decided to check it out on a Sunday morning. Was here a little bit early just before 11am, and most are not opened yet. Decided to try the chicken rice at Sin Swee Kee Restaurant, they opened at 11am.

A typical chicken rice, with a bowl of clear soup. I have to say, quality is there, the chicken skin was smooth,  meat was juicy and succulent, rice just nice on the flavour.

The condiments! yes the thick soya sauce, coupled with the ginger(green colour stuff) and chilli sauce, it's so good I smothered it all over the chicken. Honestly, the picture above didn't do justice, I actually topped a lot more, but didn't turn up good when taking pictures aha.

SweetSpot Deli @ Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

I'm a sucker for sandwiches, maybe while growing up mom always ordered a club sandwich to keep me stay put and don't run around in the club. And now once in a while, I have to get my sandwich fix. A quick takeaway from mbs for lunch in the office.

Now check this baby out, pastrami sandwich large at 14sgd. Doesn't it look awesome(or sinful).

Comes with a huge coleslaw in the middle. This baby is one of the best sandwiches I had recently. Highly recommended!

I was being a bit greedy that day, order a smoked salmon bagel to share with a colleague of mine. It comes with a generous slapping of cream cheese, and tonnes of smoked salmon. This picture is just half of the bagel, the other half my colleague already munched down. For 13sgd, it's huge! Hmm honestly I can't choose which one is the best of the two lots, I wished next time they can come up with a combo, half and half.
