Rubberduck @ Plaza Damas, KL, Malaysia.

Came here for brunch, twice in a week actually.

First round had the porridge.

Second round forgot what its called but the picture above. Both tasted good but I have to admit, the coffee here is the star. Hence why I came back here twice in a week.

Restoran Rose @ Kampung Baru, KL, Malaysia

Stomach was grumbling for a snack, did a quick stop in Kampung Baru for some satays.

This stall in the restaurant specialises in sate minang. Looks like your average satay except its done quite differently. Basically you order either beef, chicken or stomach, and you'll be given a small plate with 5 sticks of skewered meat on top of rice cakes, drenched in a thick gooey sauce, with crispy shallots on top.

Think I ordered beef and stomach. Still tastes good, and I find the satay sauce extremely addictive. Good stuff.

Restoran Jiang He @ Bukit Bintang, KL, Malaysia.

Fried chicken rice, or chinese style ayam penyet. When I got here, the banner outside was displayed only opens every monday, wednesday and saturday only. Must be good business three biz working days a week. I was informed previously was only two days a week!

Queue was pretty long but it goes by quite fast.

We stick to the basics, fried chicken, some tofu and taugehs.

The fried chicken was to die for, crispy on the outside and moist inside. They do a mean fried chicken here.

Love the tofu and taugehs here, awesome add on to my plate of chicken rice.

Simple comfort food. Definitely a star on my list. Too bad I gotta comply on the opening hours:/

Restoran E & O Kari Kepala Ikan @ Taman Wahyu, KL, Malaysia.

Haven't been here in ages, time to revisit this place.

Some of the dishes were already pre-cooked and on display.

Some of the dishes, sambal petai on the left and check out the amount of sambal on the right.

Crispy battered sotong was delicious.

But highlight for day was the crispy mantis prawn. Can't stop munching this little suckers down. I guess it gotta do with the way it was battered.

Tha main dish, fish head curry tops with loads of tau pok, ladies fingers, long beans etc. Still tasted good. I can actually just eat the curry with rice. Awesome.

Hanare @ The Intermark, KL, Malaysia

Went down Intermark for lunch, we opted to check out Hanare.

The starters that came with my chirashi bowl set.

Portion was a bit small, but I had no complains, sashimi was fresh and delicious.

A rock melon to wash it all down. Not a bad place for lunch. Think next time will go check out the weekend buffet.

Restoran Shun Fa @ Imbi, KL, Malaysia.

My first time here for hainanese chicken rice, love the place. Just go for the beansprouts and chicken.

Simple decor, it's all about the chicken.

Reminds me of the beansprouts from Ipoh.

If your craving for a Hainanese chicken rice, smack in KL city. I would personally recommend this place.
