I was actually looking for Cheong Kee Beef noodle, seems it has been replaced by this shop. Not sure same owners or what, but they also serve beef noodles, so yeah why not give it a try.

The mixed beef spareparts noodle soup. I like it, nice decent broth, generous portions. The sambal chilli could use with a bit of a kick, nevertheless a good bowl of noodles.

For those going Ben Thanh market, this place is quite nearby to get a fix for a bowl of noodle soup.

Ch'ng clear bowl of pork noodle soup. This is good stuff. A bloody good hangover cure. Definitely recommend it.

Friend tapaued back to our airbnb apartment banh mi from this joint. He did some sleuthing as well and boy was it good.

He basically take away everything on the menu. Don't ask me what is what. Each has its own taste and everything was freaking good.

But I am a sucker for pate and processed meat, so this one had a slight advantage. SUPERB!

Located in District 3/ Quan 3 if you're craving for pho in HCM. First time here, kinda packed but fast turnover.

The spring roll was a nice appetiser to start. Beef pho the works quite good, the broth was quite light. Expected a bit more oomph but nevertheless still good.

Freaking hell this place is packed and not to mention chaos like mad. Ok warning given, I did a quick in out fast brekkie.

I ordered the ccf which is simple but packs a punch. This is comfort food for me. Superb.

The white ice coffee was kow, pretty strong stuff. Splendid, I was hyper throughout the day. The curry mee had good reviews from what I read, maybe next round. The ccf and curry mee stall dishes out their meal quite fast. The drinks stall, sigh maybe it's the long weekend..... Oh well quite a decent kopi tiam in my books.

Was in this part of town, friend suggested to try out this place. As I was early, was bored and decided  to take pics of the menu. Quite an extensive menu.

Anyway we went for ala carte, mushroom soup was beautiful. Taste home cooked like what my grandmother would cook for me (but she ain't Italian, so I wouldn't know what a home cooked taste like in an Italian household lol).

I forgot what pizza was this, it should be the margherita pizza cos that's what I would normally order. Anyway it's good, I like it.

The pasta and risotto was both freaking decent. So in a nutshell, I would summarise this place, an unassuming restaurant which serves a freaking good Italian food. This is definitely comfort food for me. The last time an Italian restaurant blew my mind was No Menu in Singapore.

Nasi Kambing Harimau Nangis @ Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.

Malay style lamb grilled with rice, check out this place. It's located in Kampung Melayu Subang.

The meats are already pre-grilled, you order and they will heat it up for you. This was early lunch view at 1145 as I wanted to skip the lunch crowd. And yes it will get packed during lunch time.

Simple meal of white rice, a plate of grilled lamb and the sambal kicap. This is good stuff, honestly pair it with the sambal kicap, lovely. Portions were quite big as I had to tapau half back home and just nice for dinner.
