Had a quick pit stop in KL the other day, and here we are for breakfast. Typical corner coffee shop, with a sort of stalls selling their own forte and the landlord running the drinks stall. I missed KL for their local coffee shop ice milk tea or ice milk coffee. There was two of us, only a handful of food we can order from the numerous stalls.
One of the famous stalls here is Aunty Christina's Sarawak Laksa. I find it good, a bit of like a curry laksa with more spices in it which brings it to a totally new level.
There's a stall selling yong tau foo, ordered one to share as an appetiser, just nice as i would have remembered it.
Another local favourite, char koew teow with duck egg. It's like a ritual to me, any coffee shop I'll go, if I see a stall selling char koew teow will definitely order one to share or as a main. It's not bad, but i dare say this is pretty decent for Bangsar area.
