Dim sum for brunch at Wah Lok Cantonese Restaurant with good friends.
Chicken feet, sorry i'm not to hardcore to try this. Friends told me it was good.
Chee cheong fun was excellent, we ordered two portions one with prawns and the other with scallops, nicely done. Texture was silky, and the light soya sauce wasn't empowering. Carrot cake with xo sauce was good.
My bowl of hot and sour soup, spicy enough to cure my hangover aha.
Ribs another good dish. Simple but yummy.
The pork bun/char siew pau was awesome, meat was nicely marinated. Not sure what the other dish is called, some sort of prawn dumpling, i find this my personal favourite, as you bite into it, you get the normal taste of prawn dumpling, but there was something refreshing about it, might be the turnip or something.
Suckling pig and roast duck, duck was succulent.
Shark fin dumpling soup, had a taste of it, not bad.
Prawns in crispy tofu skin, another dish excellently executed.
And a bad picture of siu mai, friends was like trying to attack the dish before i can get a picture. All in all, a good dim sum restaurant so far i've tasted in Singapore(haven't been to a lot fyg). A bit pricey but you pay for the quality. I shall keep this venue for special occasions. I highly recommend this place, make sure call to get reservation.
