Restoran E & O Kari Kepala Ikan @ Taman Wahyu, KL, Malaysia.

Haven't been here in ages, time to revisit this place.

Some of the dishes were already pre-cooked and on display.

Some of the dishes, sambal petai on the left and check out the amount of sambal on the right.

Crispy battered sotong was delicious.

But highlight for day was the crispy mantis prawn. Can't stop munching this little suckers down. I guess it gotta do with the way it was battered.

Tha main dish, fish head curry tops with loads of tau pok, ladies fingers, long beans etc. Still tasted good. I can actually just eat the curry with rice. Awesome.

Hanare @ The Intermark, KL, Malaysia

Went down Intermark for lunch, we opted to check out Hanare.

The starters that came with my chirashi bowl set.

Portion was a bit small, but I had no complains, sashimi was fresh and delicious.

A rock melon to wash it all down. Not a bad place for lunch. Think next time will go check out the weekend buffet.

Restoran Shun Fa @ Imbi, KL, Malaysia.

My first time here for hainanese chicken rice, love the place. Just go for the beansprouts and chicken.

Simple decor, it's all about the chicken.

Reminds me of the beansprouts from Ipoh.

If your craving for a Hainanese chicken rice, smack in KL city. I would personally recommend this place.

Restoran Raso Omak Den @ Taman Melawati, KL, Malaysia.

So here I was on a weekend craving for some Negri food similar to padang but localised. The food is served like a buffet style. Self serve and you pick what dishes you want on your plate of hot steaming rice. They'll charge you accordingly later.

This spread is only a quarter of what's served. I reckon there's easily 20 dishes available. You'll be spoilt for choices.

I was a bit overwhelmed by the dishes available. Went for the basics to gauge how the food will taste like. Fried chicken and snails in masak lemak cili api with some mix gravy. Damn, this is some good stuff. I really like the taste of the food, feels home cooked. Next round I'll definitely wack more dishes.

Uokatsu @ Plaza Damas 3, Sri Hartamas, KL, Malaysia.

This place came well recommended from a few friends for their fresh sashimi. Went to check it out over dinner with a friend who was a first timer as well.

Menu was self explanatory.

Ordered a mix sashimi, which was fresh. Price was decent. This is definitely gonna be a personal favourite spot for me to come for sashimi.

The grilled saba was my other personal favourite. Simply delicious.

And a mix salad to finish the dinner off. No frills dining with good affordable Japanese food.

Go Noodle House @ Publika, KL, Malaysia.

Been hearing awesome reviews about this place, went over for lunch with a friend of mine.

It seems you need to put some chinese rice wine to elevate the noodle dish. So happens my friend has a bottle here. You can buy a bottle of wine here and park it in the restaurant.

Friend ordered the normal broth.

Me as usual had the spicy broth with meat bursting ball, sotong ball and fish ball.

The broth was good, but my taste bud prefer the normal soup. Add two scoops of rice wine, and this amazing complex flavours comes out. This is definitely gonna be one of my favourite to go to places for noodle soup. And the types of meatballs etc was absolutely smashing. Personal favourite was the meat bursting ball.
